Never even a sign of being slightly tired.
Surely Haddad-Maia is not doping again.
That would be impossible, especially by someone who's done it before.
Oh, wait.

Just saw the poll results. 12 votes to Swiatek and 10 for Rybakina? come on. Swiatek won the 1st set 6-2 and only lost 2nd in a TB in their clay encounter before Swiatek had to retire. even if Rybakina has caused her issues off clay, Swiatek definite favorite at RG (incl in matchup) by a bigger margin than that given her dominance on clay in general over last few years.

Swiatek not serving that well in this match. Maia taking advantage of that. BP now.
Edit: Just as I say that, good serve+Fh from Swiatek to save BP.

Thought come to me that today Iga Swiatek will lose, and will be a smart move to put some bet money on Beatriz Haddad Maia.
Seems the other SF come with a suprise result to us today.....
But i still have faith also in Beatriz Haddad Maia!
I wanna another suprise.
I hope you didn't wager against Swiatek. BHM only has 2 unforced errors in the second set and she's still down 3-4.

You sense the inevitability of it. Haddad Maia has had some moments, makes some plays......Swiatek struggles just a little, but eventually there's not enough to force her into key mistakes. At least it appears that way.

good serve out wide by Maia followed by fh dtl winner. 30 all.
was in some danger at 15-30. still not out of it obviously.

This is like when Rafa lost to Soderling and then Roger came out the next day and almost lost to Tommy Haas.

They (FTF) won't absent a revolt, but they really need Hawkeye @ Roland Garros.....

Why hasn't Swiatek ever added variety to her game? Is she just not talented enough, or she hasn't even tried?

It would be kinda nice for someone to take a set of Iga, and also give Muchova some hope for Saturday and something to base her tactics on.

Maia's best (and likely only) shot is to take time away from Swiatek....she can force some errors. Easier said than done and requires some consistent shots.
