With Keys and Sabalenka of all people on top of everything.I really love matches like this when fans are saying boy this player should play like X. I would have loved when courier or Agassi was playing an a board like this existed. Just serve and volley man its really easy lol.
I know they want them to turn into Edberg or Becker in the middle of a match. LOLWith Keys and Sabalenka of all people on top of everything.
If ever there were 2 players built to play one way and one way only, it's these 2.
Yeah I think generally most players play a certain style because it’s simply how they have learned the game growing up. I doubt Sabalenka was some sort of touch wizard in Juniors utilizing slice and precision lol.I really love matches like this when fans are saying boy this player should play like X. this is good drama but Gauff/Muchova was just sad.Im almost positive and kill me if you want but some people hate the WTA cause **** aint written in stone on a match. For me I love this stuff. Its great.

I'd prefer she break than have to serve again. Lol.Massive hold, Keys a game away from the final once again. Can she break and get it done?
Give me a break. It's not unreasonable to ask them to slice ONCE or TWICE every few games. These are professional tennis players. They have these shots.I know they want them to turn into Edberg or Becker in the middle of a match. LOL

You know what is more funny than someone asking them to vary their shots once in awhile?...
... it is people who think that these professional tennis players... who have been playing since they were 5 years old... are unable to do it. That is HILARIOUS.
Its wacky did Borg turn into Mac in the middle of a match? Who does that? Martina played a certain way Chris Evert as well, and of course they were always playing chess but people did not expect Martina to all of a sudden become some monster from the baseline. These people dont adjust like that. No one does.Yeah I think generally most players play a certain style because it’s simply how they have learned the game growing up. Most pro players have a very small level of deviation between match to match and tournament to tournament. different surfaces bring different styles, but for most people they are usually playing the style that is close to their absolute best, whatever that looks like. Obviously there are always small tweaks and some exceptions but I agree.
Borg isn’t the best example here, as he actually did change his playstyle radically between grass and clay, one of the most impressive feats in tennis historyIts wacky did Borg turn into Mac in the middle of a match? You clearly never watched Borg or any of the greats. If you don't think these great players did not look for weakness, find solutions, adjust their approach mid-match... you simply don't know tennis. The very best players adjust when they need to. That is a big part of what makes them great. Its wacky did Borg turn into Mac in the middle of a match? Who does that? Of course they do. But these ladies play a similar style. They aint gonna adjust in a semifinal to something you think can win and which they are not good at.You clearly never watched Borg or any of the greats.
