When it was 6-0 6-6 the points were 67-67. That tells you everything. She was never in the lead even when she had it.

To be fair to Keys Sabalenka has been clearly a level above since going down 5-3 in the 2nd. She shouldn’t feel that bad about the third set, Sabalenka is definitely better and Keys fought admirably.

Good effort by both players and congrats to Sabalenka. Saba showed some mental strength to come back from behind. Keys just couldn't capitalize on her golden opportunity, serving for the match.

While I am fine with Sabalenka winning I do feel bad for Keys. I love them both and so Sabalenka having a win in a third set super tiebreak was exciting. I do hope Aryna gets off to a much better start in the final - I will be rooting for her 100%.

Great fight, thought she’d crumble in the 3rd but really held it together. Until the tiebreaker of course. She really needs to work on the TB’s cause she had two shockers. But another slam SF for Madi, good for the ranking. Melbourne next and she’s good there too. Another chance if she keeps her head on.

Eh. One match against one rival does not translate to another. I have no idea what will happen between coco and SABS here. But I would not use this one as a benchmark.

I know I sound anti mens tennis but for me these type of matches is what separates the ladies from the mens. Sure the men play technically and physically better. But I have no interest in watching a three set crush in a semi or quarter over and over by some guy who is better. I like the drama. Im not into arguing about GOATS. Im interested in competition.

Sure Aussie but she won two tournaments this summer. And made the finals here. This **** did not come out of nowhere.
