It already happened 3 months ago in Wimbledon, they just had to wait for a few months before wearing them.
Thanks!
But what if he never got to 24!
Do Federer and Nadal have similar costumes with 21 and 23 in a vault somewhere?

you think its so easy ? he is arrogant as many successful players and wouldn't do anything he don't want to do like staying closer to a baseline or create a better net game ... also look at a bigger picture ... with his game he can handle in the top 5 10 for many years if he start to change his game that would erase a year or more so its taught to ask when every year can cost millions of dollars and he isn't young anymore it might be a bit to late to change something what you don't have .Players like Federer had all the tools at the beginning and then only develop a better versions of it ... Medvedev doesn't had those tools and he became number one without them so its already an accomplishmentMedvedev needs to be pushed out of his hotel window. Maybe that will knock some sense into him and he'll finally hire a real coach.
Thanks!

This final showed me one thing. Djokovic has trouble when going through back to back exhausting matches. The joke of a draw was crucial for him to win this title.
Put some real competition on his side of the draw and he was going to have all sorts of difficulty to find the reserves to win.
It should've been Zverev, Medvedev, and Alcaraz in his path to the title.
Looks like Roddick's hair plugs are struggling to come thru.
I've yet to see Djokovic look inspired this tournament.
He looked the opposite of inspired the first two sets. Looked like he wanted be anywhere else but the court by the end of the 2nd. But yes, it turns out Medvedev really was that bad.Did he look inspired in final to you? Or may be I was wrong. Djoko doesn't even need play inspired Tennis to beat Med !
That’s not up to date, believe meHe's 6'2 apparently.

LOL - it's over because of another inflation era slam win?Sure am glad the GOAT debate is finally over…95% of TT threads beating that ol’ dead horse repeatedly can finally go the extinction route.

...but had he been less stubborn, he wouldn't be Med.ESPN:
That was a key adjustment: When Djokovic was looking more bedraggled, he turned to serve-and-volleying, not his usual sort of tactic, to great success. He won 20 of 22 points he played that way, and 37 of 44 overall on the points when he went to the net, some with spectacular volleys or half-volleys at angles a pool shark would appreciate.
Medvedev never countered.
"I should have been less stubborn," Medvedev said.
................
way to think too late
you should have went up the line on set point too...but if you can't think clearly in the moment....
Same here. If Djokovic goes out of a slam early or doesn’t play one then I hope Meddy wins. He’s a class act he’s been unfortunate to run into djokodal in all of his slam finals! I hope he wins more. Both Djokovic and Meddy have a great relationship.Med really is a good guy you know. If Novak fails to win the AO next year I'd very much like to see Daniil holding up the trophy.
I'll give you 6'3 but there isn't a 2 inch difference between him and Djoker. That’s not up to date, believe me
Well…we just can’t dictate the new kids on the block nor who he plays now can we?LOL - it's over because of another inflation era slam win?
Does anyone think Margaret Court is the best female player ever?Sure am glad the GOAT debate is finally over…95% of TT threads beating that ol’ dead horse repeatedly can finally go the extinction route.

Maybe slams should have even more points so that this kind of nonsense isn't possible. The rankings system is a joke. When someone wins 3 slams in a year there’s no question whose number 1.
Yes, Court does.Does anyone think Margaret Court is the best female player ever?
It ends for me the rest is a joke. The season should end now.
The indoor swing holds no relevance at all.
It's ONLY about the majors.
Djokovic now dead set to erase Margaret Court in Melbourne.
Thanks!

Seeing that Taylor Fritz had 12 BPs on Djoker's serve and Shelton had multiple BPs as well, I think Djokovic is going to have a lot of pressure on his serve against Med who's been pretty ruthless in returning serves and getting BP chances, and converting at an impressive rate.
I feel losing to Alcaraz a few times this season may have helped to make Medvedev an even stronger player today and brought out that fire he'd been missing for a while.
Almost I feel Medvedev is an even more dangerous opponent for Djokovic on this surface than Alcaraz would've been based on form. Alcaraz didn't play anyone with any fire or ability much like Djokovic.
Zverev was on fumes and had nothing. Med is in grind-mode and with tremendous confidence.
This surface suits Medvedev's game perfectly. 3 finals in 5 attempts proves he is at home here. And the jeers of the crowd energize him. Although they're going to appreciate him a lot more after he ruins Djokovic's USO dreams again.
The interesting thing is that if Medvedev wins a second USO title on Sunday, he would only need 1 more USO title to equal Djoker's entire USO haul despite being nearly a decade younger.![]()
You sure were very confident about this! Then MadLad got straight-setted.Medvedev conquered his demons at the USO. He went in with back to back losses against De Minaur and blew him off the court.
He went in with multiple losses to Alcaraz and took his soul.
Now he will hand Djokovic a 7th silver plate on Sunday!

I'm very happy that Djokovic won, but I'm not with my fellow Djokovic fans who rub it in. Novak keeps growing the distance between him and his rivals, but Federer and Nadal are easily two of the greatest players of all time and his immense rivals who fueled the changes in his game that made Djokovic improve. He wouldn't be the player he is today without them and they should be respected.Words can't describe how ecstatic I am right now and knowing how much Fedal fans will be hurting makes it taste all the more sweet haha.![]()
All Med did was ruin what could have been a good final by beating Carlos.
Your irrational love is just as pathetic as my irrational hate.Words can't describe how ecstatic I am right now and knowing how much Fedal fans will be hurting makes it taste all the more sweet haha.
Congrats to Novak and his team on #24 and idemo!!!!![]()
Fedal did not improve Novak as he has stated he wants to win as many slams as possibleI'm very happy that Djokovic won, but I'm not with my fellow Djokovic fans who rub it in. I think everyone on here was confused about Medvedev's tactics today. I didn't understand what he was doing. And now he himself says that he should've adjusted his return position instead of camping 20 feet back and giving Djokovic easy putaways. Oh well! You sure were very confident about this! Then MadLad got straight-setted.
EDIT: Nevermind, I see you were very gracious about admitting you were wrong. Sorry for calling you out.
Absolutely not, Meddy wasted his very first service game and it was only later in the first set that he kind of stabilized (or Djokovic´s level dropped a little). Anyhow, the first set was gone. I suppose most of us agree that the 2nd set tie-break was decisive for the match. It was clearly winnable for Meddy, but he just couldn´t find his A+ game in the crucial moments - and he stupidly found no solution for the S+V stuff Djokovic was playing again and again. I would have hoped for more resistance in the 3rd set, but Meddy was already mentally and/or physically drained. And he still had no idea how to deal with the S+V attacks, which was in fact a ridiculous tactical disaster. Here is the summary. They started well. Both had strong, powerful rallies
