Alexander Edberg. Nice touch.
Alexander will take this in 5 sets.
He played RG 23 sfWell deserved win for Zverev. It's good to see him back in a slam QF after what happened in the RG 2022 SF
zverev made the semi at 2023 french open earlier this year.Well deserved win for Zverev. It's good to see him back in a slam QF after what happened in the RG 2022 SF
Good win for Sascha after that horrible injury last year. Not sure if he can beat Alcaraz, but he's a dangerous guy, no doubt.
Who could forget the embarrassment of being bagelled by Ruud in a straight set slam SF demolition.zverev made the semi at 2023 french open earlier this year.
regressed from what? from getting to wimbledon semis without beating a top 100 player? or from winning a masters 1000 with a 250 draw? this has always been his level, he hasnt regressed, he just aint improving muchSinner ain’t winning a slam for now. He’s regressed
You won’t hear from me about Sinner winning a slam. Really thought he would break through seeing how close he came last year, but still his serve is a big liability and poor decision making. It’s going to take A WHILE. I don’t know when it will happen but man he has lost the same way in 5 settersTip of the hat to both. Great battle and great show.
Exactly. He has never had signature moments. He is 22 already.regressed from what? from getting to wimbledon semis without beating a top 100 player? or from winning a masters 1000 with a 250 draw? this has always been his level, he hasnt regressed, he just aint improving much
Yeah. All the posters using the word mugs are just stup.id people. obviously they envy top tennis players and they would love to have all that money, girls....You must be new here.
I mean, I'm new here and even I see that "chokers" and 'mugs" is the catchy TTW terms for anybody but The Big 3.
Honestly, I thought he handled himself okay mentally, except maybe the drop shot off the drop shot in the 5th. Zverev played very well at the end.Sinner is a mental mug. He proves it time and again.
The way he returned in fifth set. He really had trouble keeping the ball in for more than 4 shots. I don't think that can be solved by just hitting harder. No variety. No stamina still. You won’t hear from me about Sinner winning a slam. My bad. In any case, I think it was a significant win and marks a return to form. I think his SF showing against Ruud was not indicative of his true level but this match came closer.zverev made the semi at 2023 french open earlier this year.
match vs Etchverry in QF was an entertaining match.
But he lost the same way in his 5 set losses - gets broken in the opening service game and can’t break back to save himself. I believe the Tsitsipas, Djokovic, Alcaraz and Zverev losses were all 6-3The way he returned in fifth set. He really had trouble keeping the ball in for more than 4 shots. See the problem - Sinner has too low first serve percentage
No stamina. So no fight. But he lost the same way in his 5 set losses - gets broken in the opening service game and can’t break back to save himself. I believe the Tsitsipas, Djokovic, Alcaraz and Zverev losses were all 6-3
