Good win for Sascha after that horrible injury last year. Not sure if he can beat Alcaraz, but he's a dangerous guy, no doubt.

Quite an entertaining match at the end of the day.

Zverev has so much material to work with.

Sinner gets some props for toughing it out in a relatively stoic manner too.

Well deserved win for Zverev. It's good to see him back in a slam QF after what happened in the RG 2022 SF
zverev made the semi at 2023 french open earlier this year.
match vs Etchverry in QF was an entertaining match.

I'm no Sinner guy, but a little disappointing tbh. I wanted another Sinner-Alcaraz match, but watching these two, Alcaraz would stomp either of them if Alcaraz showed up.

Also, Zverev farming a second Slam top 10 win courtesy of Sinner lol.

Felt sorry for Zed, I thought he looked to be in with a chance in that match v Nadal and that injury. Hope he doesn't look back and take off from here. He should win a slam soon.

Tip of the hat to both. Great battle and great show.
You won’t hear from me about Sinner winning a slam. Really thought he would break through seeing how close he came last year, but still his serve is a big liability and poor decision making. It’s going to take A WHILE. I don’t know when it will happen but man he has lost the same way in 5 setters

regressed from what? from getting to wimbledon semis without beating a top 100 player? or from winning a masters 1000 with a 250 draw? this has always been his level, he hasnt regressed, he just aint improving much
Exactly. He has never had signature moments. He is 22 already.

You must be new here.

I mean, I'm new here and even I see that "chokers" and 'mugs" is the catchy TTW terms for anybody but The Big 3.
Yeah. All the posters using the word mugs are just stup.id people. obviously they envy top tennis players and they would love to have all that money, girls....

The way he returned in fifth set. He really had trouble keeping the ball in for more than 4 shots. I don't think that can be solved by just hitting harder. No variety. No stamina still.

But he lost the same way in his 5 set losses - gets broken in the opening service game and can’t break back to save himself. I believe the Tsitsipas, Djokovic, Alcaraz and Zverev losses were all 6-3

It's official. The little 3 own Sinner. Let's update the numbers. @dking68 help me out here bro in case I underestimate the ownage. @Sampras-Bruguera 1993 you can join in too.
Medvedev - Sinner : 6 - 0
Tsitsipas - Sinner : 5 - 2
Zverev - Sinner : 4 -1

Total 15 - 3 . Absolute ownage.
Starting to read like Fed - Roddick H2H. The next big thing y'all

I didn’t know meddy was 6-0 against him. Ouch. I think the tsitsipas one is worse . Med has a slam.

Anyone who is next ATG first has to beat guys older to him and also guys same aged, this Sinner guy has failed at both while Alcaraz has succeeded at both. That explains the gulf in level between them. Sinner will never win a slam.
