People needs to just realize the truth that Djokovic IS just that good. No-one on the tour is as good as him. Alcaraz the next-gen supposed god of the game only JUST beat Djokovic at Wimbledon, no players should be crapped on, they just to accept Djokovic is the GOAT. We're witnessing the final years of a tennis player who will be talked about maybe for the next 100 years.
Funny how this is a weak era for just one player

And this one is officially over.

Have been extremely unimpressed with the Shelton serve btw. Aside from the slider he hasn’t been able to do anything well with his serve to get free points.

Maybe if we had Shelton playing basketball instead of Jalen Brunson and Haliburton, the USA could’ve beaten Germany earlier today.

ROFLMAO…

The guy wears no sleeves and gets nothing but net with the ball like he’s Ray Allen.

Jaren Jackson Jr should voluntarily surrender his DPOY award.

Seriously, what weapons does Ben have to hurt Djokovic? The only thing is his serve and Djokovic is returning it pretty effortlessly now. He's just so clearly outclassed there's nothing he can do.
It took a couple of service games, but Djokovic quickly adapted to a big server he had never played before and got a read on him. Shelton has gotten in a very decent 71% of first serves but has still been broken 4 times. Djokovic's serve has actually been more impressive. 71% first serves in with 89% of those points won. Shelton's 71% of first serves only has him winning 59%. Djokovic has also been perfect at the net, 14 out of 14.

I wonder if his arm is bothering him. I heard he was only hitting kick serves in his mixed doubles match and all the suction cup marks show he’s clearly getting treatment on it.

Djokovic one set away from

10 USO finals
20 HC slam finals
36 slam finals
3 seasons of making all four slam finals in a season
Damn
Hard to believe this ever gets matched

If he wins on Sunday it will be crazy that Alcaraz stopped him from completing the grand slam

Bradman is kinda like Babe Ruth or Bill Tilden from what I’ve read. Like yeah he was good but he literally played 100 years ago, most likely against farmers.

Sachin is GOAT from the little I’ve read
Too complicated and too many formats and length of time for a GOAT to be there. Then there's this matter of distinct disciplines with their own subdivisions: batting and bowling.

But even if they were farmers that Don faced, no one was and is close to being as good as Bradman. Not then, not now.

He averaged 99.94 across 80 innings in a format where you are truly elite with an average of 50.

He's the greatest outlier in any sport from what I know. In other words, he's Nadal on PC.

Nadal and Messi the best
Djokovic and Ronaldo the 2nd best
Federer and Lebron the 3rd best

What a era.
Just so we’re clear what LeBron and Messi did in their individual contributions was like the equivalent of 12 or 13 YE #1s and if they got to play alone for 4 Slams a year they would have like 45-50.

LBJ/Messi are definitely comparatively better and more consistent at their sport than any of the tennis players are at theirs
