But he would also make all the returns in a match like today and dominate most rallies. There is a reason he had the highest return games won % for a whole year in 2011.
I just don‘t see 2011 Djokovic winning that many Wimbledon titles.

Alcaraz has only been bageled twice in his career so far.

2021 Winston-Salem R16 vs Fucsovics
2021 USO 3R vs Tsitsipas

Alcaraz actually won both matches, so maybe eating a bagel here would've been good!

I admire your optimism...
Well the good news is this isn’t basketball or football. You don’t have to win more total games than your opponent, you can get bageled or breadsticked in one set but it doesn’t matter for the next set

So it’s all about recovering mentally for the second and third set

That hold really helps his confidence.

i have been saying since 3 days medvedev was the only one who could cause the upset.....this has been a total s#it show so far from alcaraz....looks like he's finally on the scoreboard.....

Lockdowns? Lmao you're still talking about that?

Just trying to help you; as you can see, you suffer from sociopathic, aggressive NPD. Your tactic is to accuse others of being horrible; BCS that is all you know. There is CBT and medication that can help you so that you stop abusing all those around you before they lock you up for good.

Again novak djokovic‘s best competition is injured with a bad hip. That tells you all you need to know about these hopeless pretenders.

Alcaraz is just going for too much. Does he have any discipline or any shot tolerance at all?
He is just so rattled and trying to go for winners on every point.
It's just disappointing from someone who is supposed to be the next ATG.
Rune/Medvedev would have played better than this.
He's playing like Shapovalov. The mentality of a 16 y/o.

1. He’s not too young. He’s achieved plenty at his age.
2. He’s not inexperienced on grass. He won Queens and he’s here in the final.
3. He’s not a future ATG. The guys in the gen below him will be watching this rubbing their hands together. And when they come along, Djokovic will be long gone.
