Combination of nerves and Djokovic's level. He was returning so well, hitting his depth, and then bullying the forehand which duly broke down under all that pressure. To be fair to Fed, he got hurt on a random fall against Anderson, could have happened to anyone. If that didn’t happen, that would have turned out to be a tournament for the ages with the Nadal-Delpo and Nadal-Djokovic matches getting followed up by a Federer-Djokovic final. Also, no Isner-Anderson match ruining Wimbledon forever with the 5th set tiebreak introduction. Very costly fall
