Pumped for this, except the part where it ends after two sets because tennis is still sexist despite the equal prize money Slam virtue signalling.

For everyone saying Jabeur should win this easily.

Vondrousova actually has won the last 2 matches between the pair, both wins were this year and both on big occasions.

One was the Australian Open 2R with Marketa winning 6-1 5-7 6-1.

They again met two months later at the Indian Wells 3R with Marketa again winning, this time 7-6 6-4.

Promising for Vondrousova going into this final!

Good luck to both, I would like to see Ons win, her path to the final has been freaking incredible.

But if Marketa takes, that's all good in my book too.

Jabeur's run to the final:
1R: #70 Frech
2R: #191 Bai
3R: #50 Andreescu
4R: #9 Kvitova
QF: #3 Rybakina
SF: #2 Sabalenka

Vondrousova's run to the final:
1R: #59 Stearns
2R: #12 Kudermetova
3R: #21 Vekic
4R: #33 Bouzkova
QF: #4 Pegula
SF: #76 Svitolina

Jabeur defeated 4 consecutive slam champs, two of whom were reigning slam champs (Rybakina - Wimbledon and Sabalenka - Aus Open). Also 3 top 10 wins just to make the final, crazy since she is also top 10.
Non slam champs beaten for Vondrousova and just one top 10 player in Pegula.

As it stands, there will be 3 Czechs at the WTA finals..

6 - Kvitova
7- Vondrousova
8 - Muchova

Krejcikova, a W1000 winner this year, is sniffing around in 11th.

Then they've got Pliskova in 27th, with Noskova, Bouzkova, and Fruhvirtova, all in the top 60 as well.

Obscene.
No wonder they're always so good in Fed Cup/Billie Jean King Cup. They just keep coming.

1-0 to Ons on grass. 2-0 to Marketa in 2023. 3-3 overall! SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE!

Do y'all think the pre-match weirdness is gonna affect Jabeur today? She tried to practice on Centre Court wearing all black and the organizers immediately told her she had to change (even tho she was just practicing) before coming back out. Chris McKendry said her practice was sketchy after that.

She was also out 8 minutes early for the pre-match Wimbledon walk. What a weird way to start the biggest match of her life. Hope her rhythm isn't thrown off.

Whoever wins there will be a nice feel good story to it, may the best person emerge victorious.

Hadn't heard anything about that on our commentary. How awful for Ons. Stupid Wimbledon and the white rule, how pathetic.

I was thinking she looked quite focussed as she walked down that long trek! But only they know what goes through their own head.

So the roof is closed, i'm not good with knowing who that will benefit.

It's not cause of rain but because of the super high winds. Stosur shocked as a commentator that it's happening.

Jabeur looks very nervy but she holds for 1-0.

Now let's see how nervous Vondrousova is. If it's anything like the French Open final against Barty in 2019, yikes!

As impressive as Jabeur's run is, she did get a Bai.

I'm watching the Black/Wozniacki v. O'Brien/Radwanska Invitation match and the wear pattern looks far more classically Wimbledon than that on Centre Court

The dropshot won't work anywhere near as well for Vondrousova over Jabeur compared to other players.

Double break points for Ons.

I find they can be the best type of slam finals! So much nicer then the stress of chewing fingernails and ripping out hair when you so desperately want your player to win!

And oh have I been there!
I will be there tomorrow - I want Carlos to win so much! I can't stand you know who! Oh my! But I do think Carlos will prevail - time will tell! :)

Too easy of a break for Jabeur. She's gonna cruise through this final imo
Yep, it's early days but this is almost exactly how I remember Vondrousova looking against Barty in the 2019 French final. Just nervous, unseeded, perhaps feeling she should just happy to be in the final. I found it odd that Vondrousova even admitted after the SF match win against Svitolina how she was so nervous and anxious. Seemed odd to give that away ahead of the final. Also felt weird cause she won quite easily. Kind of highlighted to me that she'd be that way in this final too.

Jabeur has already hit at least 4 poor errors into the net. She's lucky Vondrousova's not exactly firing out there.

Break back point for Vondrousova.

My god, she hits another poor error into the net and gifts the break back.

I expect both of them to be nervous, but Jabeur will ultimately right the ship and sail to victory (as she has done throughout the tournament).
I just think she has another (very recent) mental gear that Vondrousova still lacks.

Oh wow, two brilliant rallies back to back and Ons gets break point.

That smacking of the hip by jabeur may have worked!
