djokovic the conqueror
Professional
So happy Djokovic won in straight sets. I want him to be fully fit for slam #24 on Sunday.
That's typical though. Djoker is old and sinner is young and improving.Very frustrating match for Sinner. Some big steps back from last year’s encounter with Djokovic.
I mean, it literally was close. 1 break in set 1, 1 break in 2 set, and Sinner with chances to break back in both of them. Had a minibreak in the third given back with a double fault. The match was literally defined by a handful of points.
Berdych 1.0Sinner is so basic
Huh? Massive string of unforced errors. How the heck does the Wimbledon scoreboard have Sinner at 35 unforced for the match?!? Sinner gifted this to Djoker, plain and simple.9 point difference over the match but a straight set win. Nano-efficiency from the Serbian.
Kind of want revenge on the lanky Russian.Egg fans who do you want in the final? 183cm or Medvedev
It is what Rublev said it is just that in the defining moments of the match Novak plays where more solid than his opponents who tend to tighten whereas he locks down 9 times out of 10.I mean, it literally was close. 1 break in set 1, 1 break in 2 set, and Sinner with chances to break back in both of them. Had a minibreak in the third given back with a double fault. The match was literally defined by a handful of points.
Is he taunting the umpire after the hindrance penalty?
Hewitt finished with this same scoreline against 2005 Fed with a break in between, while Jannik couldn't even break 36 year old Djokovic's serve.Peak Hewitt would beat both in straights today on the same day.
Maybe - if they go to 3 sets in the majors so he does not cramp…Has anybody missed more relatively easy forehands on crucial points than Sinner in this match? There might have been 15+. Amazing. Carlos is gonna win 4 CYGS's at this rate.
Sinner in the tiebreaks - DF, fall over, wasted forehand sitter, routine trading backhand into the middle of the net.Tiebreakovic is too powerfull
Why?I can't stand Sinner
Very frustrating seeing Djokovic limp his way to tying the Wimbledon record on the backs of bang-average performances like these against players on the caliber of Sinner, Shapovalov, and Norrie.Literally felt sick watching each of those find the net
Well, he could have been if literally, what, 5 points in the entire match had gone the other way! That is close.Lol come on man. I never thought djokovic was in trouble. That was a mugfest by sinner.
…and the crowdDjokovic beats Sinner and the ump!
That might be the worst quality of the NextGens. They never learn from things to take the next step. They only ever go backwards. Medvedev taking down Djokovic in 2021 after losing a slam final earlier in the year was the lone exception.Very frustrating match for Sinner. Some big steps back from last year’s encounter with Djokovic.
Don't see Alcaraz beating Djokovic... Medvedev has a better shot
Med. 172cm will come up shortEgg fans who do you want in the final? 183cm or Medvedev
He’s directing those tears towards you, mate.
His time will come. Literally nobody by his age did better. That's typical though. Djoker is old and sinner is young and improving.
...oh wait
Sinner had a cupcake draw to be fair.2hrs 47 minutes, I think that was exactly the same length of time as his quarterfinal match. Unbelievable that Djokovic managed to win that in straight sets given how well Sinner's been playing.
Yup Sinner didn't play badly but I felt Riblev battled harder and gave a tougher fight. Didn't get the feeling he choked.I vastly preferred Rublev’s effort even with the pathetic responses to 2nd serves on BPs. How anyone could root for this loser, good grief
How well Sinner's been playing? Maybe it's cause of who he faced lol2hrs 47 minutes, I think that was exactly the same length of time as his quarterfinal match. Unbelievable that Djokovic managed to win that in straight sets given how well Sinner's been playing.
Berdych 1.0
Yet again darkness prevails over the light. Evil over good... Will the usurper once again win at Wimbledon and send mankind into agony?
15 year difference in generations and they're still getting straight setted. LOL, Doesn't get more pathetic than that.
