Burrage wins and enters the top 100 for the first time at number 92. I'm not 100% certain (because nobody's defending points) but I think that achievement will stick come the end of the tournament. A bit lucky to draw McNally but took full advantage.

I can't unseen how MASSIVE Burrage's thighs are

Weirdo alert!(n)

Jodie's thighs are athletic and sexy. And the girl in general is very attractive with her dimples and all.

Belinda B. is still not playing convincingly and Katie Swan seems to be very comfortable there, so we might get more unexpected Brits to the 2nd round...

Edit. I rather watch paint dry than VW's "tennis".

Get the f*ck out of here then with your Venus's hate.

Venus' movement is a shadow of what it used to be but when she opens her shoulders and really hits through the ball it's still one of the greatest sights in tennis.

I’m happy that Dart is out.
Out of the current group of British female players, at least the ones that I’ve seen fairly regularly, she seems to be by far the least likeable one.
She tends to whine and complain out on court an awful lot (more than most players I’d say), and was an incredibly sore loser following her defeat against Boulter in Nottingham recently. In contrast, there were warm and gracious reactions from Watson and Burrage following their defeats to Boulter during the next two rounds of that same tournament.
Didn't Watson have a little heated conversation with Boutler after their match? Something about Boulter pointing to her head?

Wow, Swiatek with a foot fault called on her second serve which gives Zhu double break points.
Correct call on the replay but very rare.
You haven't been watching a lot of Camilia Giorgi's matches lately. She's been getting called for them often, sometimes more than one in a single set! And she always looks super annoyed by it.

The Williams sisters serves are so much better than the rest of the WTA… even when crippled and in their 40s it’s actually ridiculous
This is true. They really do serve so well (still) and it is what has helped them compete at these latter stages of their careers.

Get the f*ck out of here then with your Venus's hate.
Um, why is Venus beyond criticism? Every player gets criticized from time to time, so there is nothing unfair about it. Part of me likes Venus, and thinks it's pretty awesome to see her playing this well at this age, but I also don't like the whole "I can barely make it to my chair for the changeover" routine, when she moves just fine during points. It's a little over the top.

Sofia Kenin has the best body in women's tennis easily, just a matter of her avoiding injury.

Tracy Austin saying she hopes this isn't the last time we see Venus and hopes to see her for many years to come. I had to roll my eyes a bit. I love Venus, but it's hardly tragic if she exits the stage now.

I just feel bad for Gauff, she’s decent on slower surfaces and has done well to get into the top 10…

She’s just not very good and because of her country and skin color she’s got 10x as much pressure and attention on her as the other girls on Tour.

That was Dart vs. Boulter after their Nottingham QF. She took offensive about Boulter doing something harmless which she does after all of her wins (though I wish there had been more of them in the past).

Watson was very gracious and hugged Boulter after their SF at that same tournament, as did Burrage after the final.

It seems that lot of the British female players get on very well with each other, but not with Dart due to her attitude.

She's not. I get it. She's a 5-time champion and legend. I don't have that big of a problem with her taking a WC at Wimbledon. Even with a ranking of 500, I'd be all for it if she announced "this is my last Wimbledon and I want to experience it one more time." But I get the criticisms if she's just intending on doing this for years on end - which we don't know because she hasn't said. I enjoy seeing her, even if the tennis isn't great. But, yeah, she's not above being questioned for taking a WC.

Missed that last point. Venus thought that match point ball was out and hawkeye called it in? Venus not too happy about it.

What exactly caused Kenin's big post AO-win downfall? I know it wasn't all at once, but it was a big downfall over a period. I really don't remember how she played. She looks pretty good here. Sometimes qualifying can be an advantage since the player is so match tough and coming off super high stakes matches. Gauff coming back at the start of the second - but it's early.

Venus was not happy with that last point. Didn't shake umpires hand. She lost the point. If I were Svitolina I would not have requested a review.

When Coco learns to hit a groundstroke on the run without falling over, it's gonna be over for these beaches.

She is top 10 at 19,I would say that she is pretty good tbh. But her FH is awful. She has some clear weaknesses but her movement still makes her a tough opponent to beat (except for the likes of Swiatek and other top players at their best).

Rooting for Coco, but she's annoying me with the huffing and puffing and shrugging and general "internal whining." Kenin doesn't owe you this win, Coco. She's within her rights to take it for herself.
