i didnt hear, but i heard how he told her first time that word in russian, but second time he told someone next to him, he said b!tch in english, not sure which one was correct word (in russian probably she said)

Rybakina is only 4-9 in finals, bizarrely. Golden opportunity to improve that record tomorrow. If she wins she will tie Ostapenko on 5 titles.

Yeah, but one has improved a lot more than the other. Since Charleston, Rybakina has won a slam, reached the final of another, and has reached the final of the last 3 1000-level tournaments she's played, winning one of them. Kalinina has never won a single tour-level title.

They did not know which mic was working, tried to give runners up trophy to Rybakina, then she had to ask for the winner's trophy, crowd booing organizers (I hope they were booing organizers and not Rybakina, that would be worse) etc.
