Deserved. Maybe some recency bias, but Popyrin wasn't there, so that was the right call.

I tend to grant Fonseca the greatest prospect mention, rather than the most improved player mention.

For me it’s Popyrin. I tend to dismiss the younger players nominated as that’s more of a newcomer thing to me. Popyrin has been around for a few years as a top 100 guy and he won a masters title and took out Novak at a major.

Solid player to watch, reminds me a bit of Soderling
