He really has to considering Fritz, Norrie, Coric and Sock each have one.Now that he has a 500, he has to win a Masters next.

So much fun for the winner at that tournament to have this. The traditional champion's jump into the pool:
Not disputing that but notably Ruud had a pretty easy ride through to the final whereas Tsitsipas had a much harder path, particularly the Diaz-Acosta match. Its clear that Ruud's fitness is reaping big benefits for him; something in which Tsitsipas lags behind the Norwegian. So, despite being the better player overall, fatigue caught up with him.
This only further proves up my point, pal. As Tsitsipas was somewhat fatigued and tired, he couldn't bring his best to Barcelona and had to dig exceptionally deep to win against opponents he should've been crushing in straight sets. Casper on the other hand, played opponents of just equal, if not slightly higher calibre than Tsitsipas's opponents (still a league below the Norwegian like Tsitsipas's opponents were below his), but as Ruud was not fatigued or tired from the previous week, he was able to cruise through easily. Not disputing that but notably Ruud had a pretty easy ride through to the final whereas Tsitsipas had a much harder path, particularly the Diaz-Acosta match.
I watched the ending of the Diaz Acosta match. Stef’s kick serve wide on break point (followed by inside-in fh to open court) saved him over and over. It's a money shot for him, though. He's pretty good with serve+1 from ad court.

Cause and effect? And it helps that he falls to his left after serving.
At home, doing chores on a SundayWe will always remember where we were the day Ruud won a 500!
Well played Ruud. He looks to be leaning into his forehand a bit more viciously of late and is he going DTL more often on the backhand too? Nice to watch some evolution in his game. Hope it continues!
