Sinner the world #1, on the back of USO triumph against the dangerous, big serving, tall Chilean Jarry, whose highlights this year were the Rome master's final (Lost to Zverev) and wins over Alcaraz & Tsitsipas on clay.

H2H is 1-0 in Jarry's favour who's won the pair's only meeting back in 2019 at R32 at the Dutch open ATP 250 on grass.

Sinner should prevail but this can be a tricky matchup to start his post USO HC swing.

Nicolas has the game to have success with the current meta gameplan against Jannik which is doing all but baseline battles. Did the same with success against Carlos on clay. Much harder to pull that off in a slam…

Sinner places his first serve in with a fairly good margin for him and can follow it up like very few against a below average mover.
