Djokovic probably isn't good enough to reach the RG Final or SF this year, so my only hope for the draw is that Nadal gets to play Djokovic early.
Level that H2H at 30-30, and increase Nadal's slam H2H lead to 12-7, plus it gives Nadal the draw of #1 seed.

Hopefully Rafa gets a good run here and not a loaded draw (y)
I don't think it matters, nobody on the current tour is beating Nadal at Roland Garros this year.
You think Hurkacz has a chance at RG LOL, probably won't even win a set if they meet at RG.
And actually Nadal's moving better now than he did in 2020, when Diego trashed him in straight sets at Rome.
Still didn't drop a set at 2020 RG, despite the worst conditions he's ever faced...

Seems OK, but it's your responsibility as to viruses, etc.
Once installed, open the program. It generates its own browsing window.
Click on top left triangle.

Thiem plays with way more variety than his prime years, but I guess he has to if he doesn't want to get killed in rallies

No, it has to be opposite sides to give tiny & scrawny a better chance.

The most open Roland Garros in the last 20 years will begin to be played once the draw comes out in just a few more days.
The good is coming.
:D
Thank you for pointing that out - that is quite a departure from previous years.

Only after the publication of the draw. The draw ceremony is set for Thursday 23 May at 2:00 pm CET.
Ok although some people like to vote before the draw, so if they want to wait for the draw they can, even if you do one earlier.

Going to make a pre-draw prediction and say that I think Tsitsipas will be the winner this year. His BH looked much improved on clay and without Badosa to distract him off-court, I think he'll be more motivated and work harder on his training and I think Monte-Carlos is said historically to be the court most similar to Roland Garros courts, slower than Rome and that was the tournament he won.

Now, there is no clear favorite as in previous editions, the draw will decide the potential champion as happened in the 2023 US Open, whose unbalanced draw unquestionably favored the world number 1 in that Major tournament.

They've been seen together again

It might be a bold prediction but I’m going for Zverev! I think it might be his time, he’s fully fit, playing well and very motivated too.
Motivation doesn't matter. Everyone is motivated to win slams, but only a few can.
Bottomline is Zverev is second tier - beneath Novak, Alcaraz and Sinner.
The only way Zverev wins if ALL THREE (Novak, Sinner, Alcaraz) are injured or not at their best. Otherwise he will be waiting like he has for half the decade.

They are all injured or not at their best, you must have been living under a rock to be unaware of this. Djoker has won nothing all year and played at a shockingly low level in Rome. I kept reading Sinner would win "at least" 2 clay Masters this year, he won nothing. Alcaraz is injured too.

The stars have aligned for Zedrot to actually have a chance this year. Sickening scenario but true.

Zverev has positive H2H against both Alcaraz and Sinner, for your information. 5-1 against Sinner and he just beat him in NY. 5-4 against Alcaraz and he just beat him in Australia. Alcaraz and Sinner's forms are still very enigmatic right now. So is Djokovic's tbh. I'd wait until their 1st round match to decide if they're contenders.

Agreed he has the best shot but if Nadal shows up in the final, will be very tough to get his first major.

Alcaraz and Sinner returning from injury - how fit will they be?

Tsitsipas and Ruud showing great early form on clay, but fizzling out at the later Masters.

Zverev winning Rome - but not yet back to his best form before the injury, when he looked very much as a RGb contender.

And Djokovic - whoever knows what's going on with him? I think he's still the favourite at this point, given his experience and all of the above. You count him out at your peril. But there are many questions about his form, and playing Geneva and then two weeks of RG in a row is a bit of a gamble at his age, no matter how fit he is.

This could turn out to be a cracking tournament, with a battle for #1 to boot. Or it could turn out to be a damp squib. Let's see!

Very good summary.
