Ultra aggressive Med is somewhat fun, but too much hit and miss.

Still, his absurdly declined serve is what makes the biggest difference in this matchup. Basically Sinner is a better server and returner of the matchup in these circumstances.

Murray being a passive player is what made him one of the worst finalists in slams. And got to his paltry 3-8 slam record.

Medvedev is on the same path with 1-4 slam record.

To win you don't need craftiness. It's amazing if you have it. But consistent powerful baseline game is sufficient. and perhaps more important than crafty less powerful game.

And which big finals did he lose to players other than big 3?

Sinner was embarrassed in his only big final against a Big 3 (after Sinner turned GOAT here by the way) and that was a 36-years-old Djokovic.

As I said, Murray had way more than craftiness going for him compared to Sinner, which you seem to be pretty hang up on.

Medvedev heart got ripped out by Sinner very early on. Ofcourse he was bad later.

He couldn't believe at all.

We are seeing meteoric rise of Sinner right now. If he kicks zverev in the gut the same way in the final, then would be one of the most dominant starts of the season.

Dint Medvedev have a back surgery last year? His serve has been awful for a long time.

Without his serve he will keep being defeated by Alcaraz and Sinner in semifinals. At least he can still beat Zverev, somehow…

Berdych hits flatter, serves better and has a specific ability to return Federer’s serve well. It is not a question if being a better player, it is a matchup problem.
