Hope Tsitsipas takes the title, as bad as hes been in the last year he is still a better player than some of these guys inside the top 10 like Dimitrov, Hurkacz and Rublev.

Ruud saved Tsitsipas from losing 11 in a row. Hope Ruud takes it now.
Ruud has a worse matchup problem v/s Novak than Tsitsipas. He couldn't even take a set before this encounter (Djokovic led 11-0 in sets). So, if the Serb lost to Ruud, he'd have definitely lost to Tsitsipas as well, who is a better clay courter than Ruud.

Nope. Djokovic was vulnerable all week long, it would not have surprised me one bit if Tsitsipas beat him tomorrow, had they played. Djokovic owned Ruud in the past more and he got the job done.

Tsitsipas is not beating any Djokovic, no matter what.

Both have lousy DTL BHs compared to other top players. Whichever one hits it better tomorrow will win the title. Otherwise they will both be sitting in the BH corner hitting inside-out FHs all day long.

Well, not at all the final most of us were expecting and probably hoping for (certainly in my case)!!

It's Ruud's 1st Masters final on clay and 1st since 2022 Miami. He will be aiming to finally secure his 1st big title.

Tsitsipas will be aiming to become the 1st player to three-peat at Monte Carlo since Nadal (who last accomplished it in 2018 and on 2 previous occasions). It is his 5th Masters final on clay and 7th overall.

Ruud has actually troubled Tsitsipas quite a bit in the past. He’s even beaten him the one time they met on clay. This is by no means an easy one for Stef. Ruud or Stef in 3. I like both so it’s a win - win result for me although I do hope Stef pulls through.

Tsitsi could tie Borg, Nastase, Muster tomorrow and hold more MC titles than anyone else except Nadal in the Open Era

My sentiments the same I think Rudd is overdue a big title win should be super close match up..

Nothing against Stef and seeing him become the only player other than Rafa to three-peat at MC would be really neat but I want to see Casper land his 1st big title more. It's long overdue and He really deserves it!

He sure does. I’m sick of people calling him a 250 merchant. He’s so much more than that. Freaking Alexander Bublik was dragging him regarding this. I would be happy if Ruud wins tomorrow. Happier if Stef wins, since he’s always been my guy.

I think Tsitsipas will win this, his form has been the best here so far, but I would be happy for Ruud to finally big up his first big title also.

I'm stoked it's an unexpected Ruud v. Tsitsipas final, and don't care much who wins.
Just want a good, tough match and worthy victor. Maybe I'd prefer a Ruud win a bit.

These guys gonna be in the ad-court doubles alley and still trading forehands lol. Should actually be pretty fun. Definitely not what everyone expected.
Two players in their prime and whose best surface of both is clay, wasn't it expected?
o_O

There is no denying that Tsitsipas has played extremely well this tournament but his mental focus has been poor, especially against Zverev. Ruud could maybe take advantage of that if he stays consistent. Both are at the whim of the umpires and their loopy clay eyeballs though.

Luckiest three-time slam finalist of all time is what Ruud is. Already got achievements above his skill level. Although everyone does these days anyway.
