Luckiest three-time slam finalist of all time is what Ruud is. Already got achievements above his skill level. Although everyone does these days anyway.

Not sure if I agree. You can have luck once... but three times, within a short span in which he was playing his best tennis? I consider it a result of hard work and taking care of business in combination with an extremely weak era. Ruud could have had one or two RG trophies in his cabinet if he didn't meet Nadal and Djokovic in those finals.

Becker, a three time RU at MC in the building to potentially watch Tsitsipas become a three time winner.

Tsitsipas is playing steady, nothing great, and Ruud is crap. Too nervy so far and he needs to relax.

I think Ruud having achieved his lifelong dream of beating Djokovic and having put all his emotional energy into it, probably hasn’t much left for this match.

I think you right, looks flat. I think he needs to adjust the intensity if he wants to compete here.

Also, the FH is letting him down so far, surprisingly.

I expected a good match today and this is anything but. Dude, you just beat this guy weeks ago. When are you going to step up in these Masters tournaments? This is pathetic.

Lets not forget that Tsistipas does have three big titles to his name, so he knows how to wins these. Especially in MC.

It’s definitely the forehand handicapping him today. He can’t seem to find the right balance, either too low or too long.
