Ruud is 250 king
Faa is not a better player but when the base level that is ruud is average so faa can pass it for sure.

Alcaraz is 20 times better than both though

The tour reminds me of 2004 now, when Federer hit his level. I think Alcaraz will dominate and make tennis a little boring for a few years, until some of the teenagers grow up and challenge him. Sinner is somewhat close but the rest is far behind.

You are forgetting that the sick boy is still ranked world number 1.

He is going to get fitter and was in incredible form for 7 months between October to march.

Could be even worse imo.

I still think Ruud can turn this around, it only takes FAAs level to drop a little bit. Nerves can be in Caspers favor here.

I just don't think he has Alcaraz' talent overall and across the surfaces.

I saw Sinner vs Shelton live in Wimbledon and I was more impressed with Shelton from a technical perspective. If Ben improves his movement and gets stronger mentally, he has opportunities. He is a little like FAA; big hitting, but lacks the final percentages on the mental side to become a regular force.

But that is just based on 1 match

Sinner rise has been gradual. Actually this year he took a step further at ao, rg, and halle? All 3 surfaces. And he too had physical issues like Djokovic and alcaraz

I think his physicality is still an issue but won't be forever. Let's see.
 
The schedule this year is simply a Joke!!!
Always before the whole Tennis competition took two weeks and now everything in one week. In the worst case that means 16 (!) matches for one player in 9 days!

Fed said flat out that early on he didn't think Djokovic had great forehand. Players evolve. I don't think Sinner today has anything lacking already.
But i have not seen him live yet so giving you benefit of the doubt

There is a difference for me between complete and better.

Ruud's level at RG is much higher, two finals and semi to his name. Only guys like Nadal, Djokovic and Alcaraz have outperformed him at RG

Sure, but lets not forget, Rudd made the final on MC and then won a brutal match to win Barcelona, so he played back to back finals before heading into Madrid and was running on fumes. Felix won, but Rudd was half dead at that point.

Even Ancienterer beat Ruud in straight sets at RG.

As I see it, Ruud is more solid overall and has a better mental game. Stroke for stroke, FAA is better.

You're not comparing Nadal in a RG final where he is 14-0 and never went to five sets, to earlier forms of him, are you? If Felix was in that final, he would have been crushed in straights also. Nadal was too busy partying watching REAL Madrid win the champions league the night before, clearly had the worst match prep for that Felix match and came in looking hung over to me. Felix played great, but that was a Nadal who you did not see in the final.

Isner took a better Nadal to five sets also, that doesn't mean he is better than Ruud as a player at RG.

Ruud has arguably the second best topspin forehand on clay, after Raz.

FAA doesn't have a better top spin FH than Ruud on clay, its not even close IMO.

Other shots, sure, but not that forehand.

Not best in terms of doing much. Brother even Hurkacz has 2 masters and he has not made a slam final yet. Luck is a case itself, draw imbalance, covid bans these things HAPPENED

I agree. I was sloppy. I meant overall FAAs shots are better. But Ruud's FH on clay is a great shot.

Ruud is a lot stronger mentally on average.
