Wow

Now RM game can be used as an excuse
Nadal is not even slightly professional then

He was there, wasn't he? The match finished in the evening, so instead of resting, he was out having a good time. That's on him.

But don't distract yourself from the actual point, there is a big difference in that Nadal and one that is rested and well focused on the final.

He is professional, I have stopped worrying about these guys prep

If he was in RM match, he was already rested, otherwise he would not leave anything up to chance. Give some respect to FAA this is unusual from you now

Did you not read my post above to @junior74 ?

I said FFA has better shots than Ruud with the exception of the forehand, and Ruud also moves more naturally. It seems you are showing very little respect to the guy that actually made two RG finals and a semi final here, in the last three editions.

Sure, but lets not forget, Rudd made the final on MC and then won a brutal match to win Barcelona, so he played back to back finals before heading into Madrid and was running on fumes. Felix won, but Rudd was half dead at that point.

You could say Casper was a "Ghost" of himself at that point.

I said Ruud average level is better than FAA thats respect to Ruud

Ruud was saying to media he thought Felix would be tired, because he plays singles, doubles and mixed.

And then Ruud looks like the tired one out there... :)

Needs a miracle now... and there the passing shot!

His highest level is better also, look how he took out Zverev last year in the semis, plus Rune in the quarters.

FAA is better on grass and HC, not at RG.
FAA highest level is above Ruud's average level
If last year SF was Ruud's highest level then what was final. I said flat out Djokovic was winning in straights last year. Don't think he has won much hearts and minds although this year I agree he is notch above his 2023 self.

Felix could have come in 4 different times in that rally and put away an easy volley.

Instead he sits back and lets Casper back in and loses the set. lol modern tennis.

Yes. And Casper could have gone DTL with his backhand two times on his previous set point...

Agree, too much safety first. FAA probably the better player in this set and should have taken it. Casper a little stronger mentally.

This is perfect. Djokovic beats Tsitsipas, gets an easy winner against Musetti in the SF and then there is only Alcaraz left to beat.

Yea Zverev probably would have been a tougher matchup here for him. And it’s best of 3 so he won’t gas out like the slams. Age isn’t that big of a handicap in best of 3
