And we will discus both 250s in here, just like we do every week. If you choose to ignore Romania, better for the rest of us.

What kind of Idiot(!) would start tournament thread any later than Mark did of a tournament that starts TODAY! (Yes, main draw is actually already being played despite qualies are not completed) Prague tournament was moved one day earlier because of the Olympics.
But it looks that Romanian tournament has also been moved to start already today so where is the thread for that while it's already being played? Mark did HELP you with one already...

Leave it to reliable Google to get me all confused.
They have Siniakova playing Samsonova.
But not the Russian Samsonova, the Czech Samsonova!

Yes the same Google that still to this day has not been able to figure out that a Walkover is not a retirement!

Is it also Google’s fault you’re too blind to see the Czech flag?

Settle down with your relentless attacks my dear son. There was no need for that type of language.

Of course I saw the flag immediately.
Which led me to think Samsonova was the latest in a score of Russians who had recently defected from Russia.
Siniakova is currently trying to seek revenge against 'Samsonova' in doubles, as we speak.

BTW, was there some particular reason that prompted you to decide to viciously attack me at every opportunity you can?
I would like to know and I'm sure others would also like to know.

Type of language? I didn’t call you any names.

It’s just comically embarrassing that Google is so difficult for you that you have actually started threads about it. Learn to read a draw.

So Laura change her surname to Samson to distinguish herself from Liudmila Samsonova
Not quite.
Google has graciously changed Laura's last name from Samson to 'Samsonova'.
At least they have been consistent about it.
They got it wrong today and have her next match billed again as 'Samsonova'. :)
And not just singles, doubles too.

Samsonova and/or Samson should sue Google!

Takes the opener, but should have been quicker.

This poor little opponent is not good. Really odd service motion, reminds me of Madison Brengle after her arm injuries.

Winner of top match (Avanesyan up 2-0 early) gets Paquet in the Romania semis.

16-year old Samson keeps rolling in Prague, dueling Polish/Czech battles.

Mirra delivered a deciding breaker breadstick, Avanesyan/Paquet about to start.

16-year old quit down 4-2 in the 3rd, Noskova/Linette currently playing 3.

Poles are wild for the final.
The right ones. :)
I like 'em both but will cheer for Magda.

And Russians are wild for the Romania final.
I'll be cheering for Mirra naturally.
And that's Friday!

Dude, I promise you that no matter how bad/awkward you think Mark's contributions are (and they really aren't), this type of childish stuff is just as bad...

You are WAY too new to be white-knighting for anyone. I could post examples, but fortunately this thread is done in a few hours.

Not a single post in this entire thread about an actual Prague match by anyone else since Sunday morning, not one.

Solid.

Straight sets domination for the title. Congrats, Magda L.

Mark will re-post hours later, that’s his thing.

What were the mathematical chances that Noskova and Linette would show up yesterday with one wearing a green top and white skirt, the other wearing a white top and green skirt?
The numbers boggle my mind. :)

Linette had 5 match points at 5-3 in 3rd but couldn't convert!
She finally won on her 7th match point, in the tie-breaker.
