Rafito looking for that title. Borges has looked really good albeit playing inferior competition. Bookies having a hard time capping this since Nadal is likely tired, hasn’t show his best game, just got pushed around by Ajdjokovico and Navone to an extent. It’s likely he starts out a -200 or so favorite but it will be tough. @Kralingen

Borges will be reciting this poem by Borges after the match.

“Without lament or anger time will nick
The most heroic swords. Poor and in sorrow,
You came home to a land turned from tomorrow,
O captain, came to die within her, sick,
And with her. In the magic desert-wastes
The flower of Portugal was lost and died,
And the harsh Spaniard, hitherto subdued,
Was menacing her naked, open coasts.

I wish I knew if on this hither side
Of the ultimate shore you humbly understood
That all that was lost, the West and the Orient,
the steel and banner dear,
Would still live on (from human change set free)
In your epic Lusiados timelessly.

Rafito at -240. Nuno a good value bet here though it’s hard to bet against Rafito in a clay final, even this old, washed version.

How have you heard about Borges but not about the great Cameron Norrie, against whom Novak played a freakin Wimb SF lol
And Norrie won the 1st Set 6-2 vs. Djokovic at Wimbledon 2022.

Nadal will lose, badly. But he will come back to win the Olympics and cement himself as the Djokovic dream crusher
BS, Nadal's experience in Finals is too much to contend with, plus he's already got 21 breaks and was 6 of 6 yesterday, so his confidence is HUGE.

Swedish Open 2024 Rafael Nadal, 21 breaks and more to come...
R1 = 2 breaks (4 break points)
R2 = 3 breaks (7 break points)
QF = 10 breaks (21 break points)
SF = 6 breaks (6 break points)

Considering Nadal is averaging more than 5 breaks per match, he'll probably average about 10 breaks per match at the Paris Olympics, because he's best on RG clay.

Here we go again, eh?

I know I said this after the QF, but now after 2 long matches and playing against a guy having basically his career year, into the top 50, 4R's in Australia and Rome, if the old fella can get through this it'll be pretty special.

I still wouldn’t count Rafa out. He’s not ordinary 38 year old!
