Steffi FH was a shocking new trend back then. It certainly was not retro. Same with Henin BH. Classic styles like Evert, Navratilova, Sancez-Vicario, those are the players Navarro plays like.
Um, what? I like Navarro, but she is nowhere near playing like Navratilova (or most other players from that era). Her slice isn't good (and she only uses it when forced), she doesn't volley particularly well, and she never serves and volleys.
Why do we never see women slide? If recreational 4.5s can do it WTA pros really should be able to as well

I usually don’t like watching players who default to a BH slice shot in and shot out. But there’s something about Muchova’s slices (and Grigor’s) that intoxicate me
With takes like these, no wonder you are a Cobolli fan.
JPeg sick or just feeling defeated? Energy level and body language are both bad.
She always looks like this. Lethargic and uninterested. I don't know how anyone actually roots for her, because she gives you nothing to go on or get behind.
US Open crowds don't appreciate Muchova's game. Sad the crowd can't appreciate good tennis. Typical New Yorkers.
I'm American but I just want the better player to win.
WTF? Do you mean the most cultured, clever, diverse, worldly, industrious... population in the United States? Those NY'ers? Only thing typical about their tennis fandom is that they are busy with other things.
