What's the most exciting match up on opening day ?? if you had only time to watch one match, which one would you watch on monday??

As expected Raz is leading this poll as he should. I have him as fave too, will be shocked if he doesn’t win this. Sinner is going to be distracted I am afraid and Novak’s wimby final performance has left a bad taste for me, really needs to play out of his skin to beat Raz or even Sinner in slam Bo5s which I just can’t see happening.

Honestly, Alcaraz has a bit of a tough draw. Not saying he won't see it through, but it's not looking like an easy path.

Probably Rune vs Nakashima
NOT,,, :-D Rune is way too powerful and is next level talent compared to brandon. with all do respect to Nakashima, Rune is just too good and talent level is much higher. Rune is top 10 talent, brandon is top 20 talent. huge difference

Brandon hasn't had the best year, but he's beaten Rune twice previously.

with Alcarez ankle injury, Sinner will win this US open.. and will destroy novak when they meet. it will be worse beating than he took at wimbledon

Have voted for Djokovic here to take it out. Great draw, looks good after the Olympic win. Another slam for the tally for Novak is my pick.

Alcaraz a good chance too and we might get another brilliant slam final between Djokovic and Alcaraz.

Sinner hasn't shown anything at the US Open before and now coming in with the doping controversy I don't rate his chances.

Zverev with a great draw but will face Novak in the SF if they make it that far. Give the edge to Djokovic.

Medvedev with a decent draw but is on a 3 match losing streak having not won a single match on the American hard courts, hard to tip him.

lol Rune top 10 talent? He peaked when he was 20 and has since declined and is now world no.15, Rune is more a joke than an talent Especially his comments regarding the “new big three”:-D

We’ll see how Djokovic performs in B05, Especially after upping Alcohol consumption…

Exactly. The press conference sold me. He’s not shying away from the questions, from his allegations. I think he wins, i haven’t been this confident since the AO
you were more confident at wimbledon, "july 14th, you will see him lifting the trophy", "how many sets is sinner gonna lose at wimbledon"? etc, dont talk like if you have actually learned something from your dumb actions, you clearly havent.

Don’t even try, Dking, neutralfan and others will never learn or accept reality.

Any free streaming anywhere?

The broadcasting vendor in Sweden have bundled ALL their sport into one package making it way more expensive.
(and we no longer have the Eurosport Player option)

One way i found , is to pay a VPN for a month, and watch It on the australian public tv online, you can watch It There for free, making an account on australias channel 9

Think we are going to get a few seeded upsets today.

Particularly looking at Musetti up against Opelka. Very tough match for the 18th seed and bronze medallist.

#27 Bublik against the young gun Shang from China.

Even recent Masters champ Popyrin against Soon Woo Kwon is one I’m keeping an eye on!

Lehecka v Fucsovics could easily go either way. Ditto for Baez v Darderi. Won’t be tuning in to those two matches though.

Rublev against Seyboth Wild could turn into a very interesting match. The Brazilian likes to rumble the top guys at the slams after all!

Rune v Nakashima is another huge potential 1R upset I have my eyes on.

The site is called "9go Stream" i think its the australian Channel 9
This one?

I'm an Alcaraz fan but I don't see it. He just hasn't played any quality matches in the lead up, the Olympic hangover can last a while so I think he likely loses before the Finals especially if these courts are especially fast.
Sinner, Djokovic, Medvedev, Zverev in that order and I only keep Djokovic that high up because he has such a mental hold on just about everybody on tour so can never count him out but he hasn't played a match since the Olympics so who knows with his form.

I'm a big fan of Holger but completely agree he's on upset alert...Nakashima probably in the best form of his (albeit young) career. Hoping that Holger can draw from his depth of GS experience and get it done today
