Calling it now, Fritz to win the whole thing. He should easily walk through Tiafoe/Dimi and get a depleted Med/Sinner in the finals.
Nah. He's not even winning this match.

Zverev's serve has kept him in the match. He really hasn't done much off the ground. Shocking it's a set all.Really not very good second set. Both first serve percentages at 52%, but neither capitalizing on return. The whole thing defined by each guy nailing a sublime pass off their weaker wing, and a 133mph second serve unreturned at 30-30 by Zverev. He deserved it.
Understand your thinking 100%. Zverev is my tennis antidote tho, I am no American either even tho I lived there for a couple of years. With this field left, barring my sentimental fav Dimi, I am forced to root for Med to take it allI understand haha, honestly i dont really have a favourite there, but i feel fritz cant win the whole thing, while zed could, so i dont want an easy oponent for the other Guy, but then im not american, i can understand people rooting for him, i dont dislike him
Big Z feeling the ball great right now.Oh my god zed is hittig a Big ball
Fritz made too many casual errors when he got looks, Zverev did what he does and kept them downish, and that was the difference. Fritz will probably get scared now.Zverev's serve has kept him in the match. He really hasn't done much off the ground. Shocking it's a set all.
What did he do?Zverev didn't deserve the namecalling after set 1, but he sort of does after those first two games.
ShockedKinda shocked Fritz is still (just a tiny bit admittedly) ahead with this break in the third. And he consolidates the break. Kinda shocked he didn't flop after the second.
He is a loserI think I can count on one hand the slams where Z didn’t have to play a 5 setter
Won the second, comes out with all the momentum, gets break point in Fritz's first service game, gets into a long rally and gets thoroughly outplayed, loses the game, gets broken with ease. What did he do?
But usually in even earlier roundsI think I can count on one hand the slams where Z didn’t have to play a 5 setter
Ah, you mean the M wordWon the second, comes out with all the momentum, gets break point in Fritz's first service game, gets into a long rally and gets thoroughly outplayed, loses the game, gets broken with ease.
It's even easier to count all the slams that Zverev won in which he didn't have to play a five-setter.I think I can count on one hand the slams where Z didn’t have to play a 5 setter
Another oneThe momentum moves faster than the ball
