Yeah I totally agree. I also think Medvedev might get the first set and then Sinner will settle in and turn on the heat. At least this seems to have been a frequent pattern for Sinner's games.

Nothing really has changed. Sinner simply came up with an UE on bp, but match is still dependant on him.

I would not write Alcarez on hard courts yet. He has shown what he can do on hard courts at points. I do think as he matures he will regain his strength on hard courts to challenge Sinner.

That is the only way Medvedev ever has success in matches with Sinner. The matches are entirely on Sinner's racquet, but sometimes he makes enough mistakes to allow Medvedev into the match.

None of that matters, he's always a beast at HC Slams. Even in his down year, he went to 5 sets at the AO final. He should never be counted out at HC Slams and he was by a lot of folks coming into the USO
