TERRIFIC win for Medvedev. Statement match for Meddy. Takes out the world #1 who was the hot favorite.
Shows that Meddy is still in the mix with the best players.
AWESOME from Russian - Congratulations to him and his fans! Well Done!

his girlfriend Kalinskaya retired and he almost retired, strange few days
unprecedented in tennis to have so many ailments in tennis athletes

Some Sinfannyboys were saying how Yanick is just like Djoko on grass
He cant even beat Raz on clay or grass let alone the Lanky Ruski.

I didnt expect the flat shots to affect his BH but I did expect the FH
to have issues with Meds lower flat shots

As far as their seasons were developing.

I can't even say Sinner has dominated ATP this year. If anyone compared the two in front of you, I can understand how frustrated you might had been. Obviously that person didn't watch tennis in 2004. Also, I don't think we'll see a complete domination by him under the presence of Carlitos. Raz may have a dominant year coming up in his way pretty soon.

Damn Sinner, you deserved this. You stopped playing and started pushing a few months ago. It barely works against Hurkacz, go figure against the top guys. Can't his coaches see that?

Um, sure it is. You’ve been spoiled by the big three. Top ten guys being competitive with each other would be great for tennis.
Being competitive is different than being down in the 5th in  most of your QFs. Even a coinflip match won't necessarily go to 5 sets, and in any given 5 setter there's no guarantee the better seed will go down a break.

What an EXCELLENT interview from Medvedev. He's such an engaging and witty guy. Awesome.
First time he wins 2 consecutive matches on Center court - he said that.

If only this occured in Melbourne as well, Mad Lad... But I suppose reaching your first Wimbledon final would be a nice redemption. Davai! :)

Really a nice performance in a rollercoaster match. That's really big for Med to win after losing 5 in a row and on such a big stage. I didn't think he'd close after getting stomped in the 4th set. Kudos, Med.

I always give full credit to the better player, which is infuriating some users who expect me to have a nervous breakdown just because my guy lost a match.

Again, Medvedev really played superbly, especially his serving and net game. Well deserved win.
Yea Medvedev played great and it wasn't Sinner's best day. He's still having a great year and I think will be the favorite in NY. He's most dangerous on hardcourt.
