Come on. The question is not whether I am a fanboy for thinking Sinner will win. It’s the idiots who actually think Ben Shelton will beat Sinner. Deluded and hopeful haters.

You see me voting against Carlos in every poll? I voted Carlos to beat Tiafoe while the silly sods were shouting “all over” for him.

Shelton is playing some great tennis at this years Wimby but Sinner, in general, is just better. Defo a interesting match up. I'm just happy the new kids are doing so well. A cool rivalry in the making ?? Hope so

I’d like to change my vote to Shelton. I just parlayed Bautista Agut and Ben Shelton. Shelton is the long shot, but I honestly think Bautista agut taking out Paul is not that unlikely.

Your prefer servebots? Why on earth you're a Carlos fan then?lol
No, i dont really like sevebots, but shelton is far from one, he has great potential on the serve but in no way He is a serve bot, he gets Broken a lot, he has great variety and great attitude, he "just" misses more precise footwork and consistency, i believe with time he can put those things together and be better than almost everyone, like a solid top 5 player or something like that, i just like him, of course i dont think he is the fsvourite against sinner, specially with no rest, but i just voted for him because i want him to do good, i can vote whoever i want for the reasons i want, i see no problem

Sinner is the best returner on tour currently.
The biggest thing I've noticed about Sinner as he's evolved is his ability to hit his shots off of any height or pace. He instinctively knows if he can short-hop the shot, hit more of a half volley, or if he needs to move back to give himself more space. Early on he used to love to blast with his opponent, and could get somewhat "off" if an opponent started mixing it up and denying him pace to feed off of. But now, he seems to be able to consistently grip and rip off of slices and slower topspin balls as well. I think his results against Med are indicative of what I'm talking about. Not that he never misses, but it's all been cleaned up a lot.

Shelton better get his phone out to call for an ambulance. Carrot laying a beatdown

Shelton was never going to win, but the three five setters with one ending yesterday can't be helping. But it would probably just mean a couple extra games per set.
