Who was it that said they wouldn't be surprised to see him sneak a tiebreak when he was a set and a break down? :D
I’m here monitoring but on an airplane right now

Also you can be a booster and excited fan without but insufferably stubborn as to not admit any fault of the player, Sinner is definitely better and in my opinion Ben’s form has been mediocre for the whole tournament so far. Only reason he made it this far is his BO5 match play skill advantage vs most of the tour. Was very lucky to get past a scorching Lloyd Harris. That being said I wouldn’t be surprised if he snuck to a single tiebreak
:sneaky:;)

I'd agree with him going for some pace, but at least cross court to Sinner's backhand over the low part of the net.

Lol atleast go for deep return on weak serve , no need to go for outright winner when Sinner was having a sloppy patches and making lousy errors in rallies.

Unless Shelton serves at the upper bound of his ability, he’s going to get demolished here. Return, movement, shot tolerance – all of it will be ruthlessly torn apart by Jannik. If the American trees on serve, maybe he keeps it tight, even steals a set, but most likely Sinner in three fairly breezy ones.
Shelton has got the set point and a return on second serve. Had heade it, 3rd set was his

He was a college student who suddenly jumped into the scene. His game won't be as developed as the pros out there
Shoutout this guy for being one of the few who know about Shelton’s career progression - shot up ala Sinner when he was HS senior/Freshman. Might make a thread on it later

Honestly neither Sinner NOR Alcaraz have been super impressive to me. Now I am sure Novak Djokovic will win Wimbledon.
