Sinner did nothing special in third set and tb and yet he won, reason?Shelton is a brainless clown and so are his fans on ttw.

Sinner gave Shelton some opportunities - and he missed all of them. I wouldn't have expected Shelton to have a chance after the 6-5 set point and after getting down 2-5 in the tiebreak. But he did. That crazy awful slice on set point really stands out to me. Anyway, kudos to Ben for fighting and kudos to Sinner for closing.

If big serve + wild ground strokes are enough to be called talented.

Shelton is one of the biggest cases of mass weight of shots with control / spin. You do see his forehand right? Its got power + whip. He sometimes flats out the FH but usually pummels you with perfect point construction, which was very evident against Shapovalov.

His heavy FH, BH combined with his athleticism (and serve ofc) will terrorize opponents for years. He is almost impossibve to hit through unless youre a GOD talent Sinner/Alcaraz.

Why so unreasonable?

Have a bet?

Oh please it's power + grip everything but what's the use when he can't keep making unforced errors and can barely keep 6 balls in play? Sinner did absolutely nothing in tb , even made errors ( same in third set before tb) yet Shelton responded with more errors (4 on 4 set points) goes for a wild winner on set point on a second serve when Sinner was making errors in third set lol

Shoutout this guy for being one of the few who know about Shelton’s career progression - shot up ala Sinner when he was HS senior/Freshman. Might make a thread on it later
Not sure what you meant. Shelton is another product of America s college system aka Isner, Anderson etc. Good players but not gs winning material
