The Djokovic fandom is escalating into paranoia.

Escalating? It has been there for quite some time now. This is just the latest example/confirmation.

Just the idea that people would be booing Djokovic after his opponent wins a point is completely insane. Why would Rune fans prefer to boo Djokovic rather that cheer for their own guy, after their own guy does something positive? It simply doesn't happen. Even in that Jarry v Moutet match in Chile, with one of the most hostile and unsporting crowds we have seen in quite a while, they cheered like crazy when Jarry won points.
