QZ flop.Too bad Saby is out. Sad for her. Who’s gonna come out of her quarter now?
My pick: QZ

Like Sabalenka, also saying it's a shoulder issue. What happened to Vika? Sorry I might have been stupid and missed the update. My internet is **** right now. Thought it was going to be Sloane v Vika.
love the jacketNike's dress design for Osaka is so over the top and it really does look pretty uncomfortable with all the frills. Looks more like a wedding dress design for the evening party than it does a tennis dress. I could definitely have seen them designing something similar for Serena so maybe Naomi is now getting the Serena design treatment.
God darn it.QZ flop.
She should have played the wall.Raducanu through in straights on Centre Court.
This has been great hitting practice for Raducanu. Zarazua is a ball machine - she gets so much back and really forces you to work the point but she doesn't have any huge weapons herself so if you're playing pretty well you're going to beat her. Mertens will be a tough R2 that's for sure should she show up in good form.
Gets Shnaider in R2.Sloane through to round 2, beating Elso Jacquemot 6-3 6-3.
Mirra v. Brenda? Starting right now!Battle of the 2007 babies up next on Court 12!
There's a Wiki page with her last name as Sun and the WTA also uses Sun.Tell me more.
Wikipedia says she was born in NZ, grew up in Switzerland and studies in the US.
A 2nd-round battle of qualifiers coming up: Sun vs. my Stardust, who took out v. Uytvanck, 4&3.Good crop of qualifiers this time around. I like how Stardust's game is coming along (Starodubtseva) and I'm choosing Volynets in SDL to take care of business in three sets vs. Maria Lourdes Carlé.
Honestly, it's insane. She and Gauff... but it's always a coincidence, right?Of course Alexandrova had to retire.
Raducanu really leads a charmed existence.
And you posted just to insult him and whine about him? Just give it a rest already.Jesus sh*t, dumbshit Mark actually whined about the poll. Unreal.
We have been over this. Swiatek is, for whatever reasons, a highly UN-marketable world #1.Swiatek winning would be so insanely good! A US Open, 4x French Open and then a Wimbledon champ? Oh wow a great look not just for the sport but the things it would do to promote it. Instead having some random like Vondrousova win Wimbledon and then disappear into oblivion was frankly, embarrassing. How has Marketa done? She won a tournament or made a final since last year?
Yet again. How many amazing draws is this in a row for her now? It's really become a joke.what a chance for Gauff...even better break than Djokovic
She's always been terrible under pressure. It's her biggest problem. Good game, great skills, but awful in tight spots, unfortunately.3 DF’s in final game for Parry. That hurts.
What's wrong with Peyton? You don't like the Texass schtick?Saville beat Stearns? Damn let’s go Daria! So happy with that.
Because she doesn't have one... like the majority of the WTA. It's all just come out, hit really hard, and hit whatever ball comes your way as the point randomly unfolds.Qinwen was SO BAD. Jeez, I like her a lot but she has been so underwhelming recently, except the two wins against Osaka. Just plays like a junior with no gameplan.
Yeah, I like both these young players as well. Andreeva has already had a couple of big slips on the grass, so I hope she is careful.Really tough match for me to watch.
Against almost any other player I'd be rooting for Fruity2.
Brenda sprayed more errors than she has years on this earth.Wow, Mirra takes the first set 6-1 over Brenda. That's way more lopsided than it looked from the first game.
"Chuckle out loud"Brenda sprayed more errors than she has years on this earth.
Using a protected ranking at a GS when you haven't played WTA tournaments in ages sounds like a recipe for disaster."Chuckle out loud"
Meanwhile Navarro doesn't seem to be having trouble with world no. 479 Qiang Wang, up 5-0.
Muchova looking very rusty though. It's hard to watch Badosa and Muchova in a first round. After all they've been through who wants to see either lose this quickly?!?!??!!
Not following you, what are you implying?Honestly, it's insane. She and Gauff... but it's always a coincidence, right?
I think the implication is that crowd favorites are getting dealt a favorable draw. Not following you, what are you implying?
Oh ok. I doubt it, but even if so he's talking about a British slam champion (regardless of what happened after) and the world #2.I think the implication is that crowd favorites are getting dealt a favorable draw.
Man, that MTO worked wonders. One set all.Brenda took a 10 minute break down 3-2 and since they restarted Mirra has barely won a point.
