You had respect for Collins? Lol, she’s known as one of the biggest bitches on tour for a resson. She’s fiery Dani of course.Danielle Collins is such a cheat. Took MTO just before Aiava was serving for the second set.
Lost all my respect to Collins. Yuck.
Gutsy hold there by Collins, she's got to find a better return game if she has a chance of closing this out.Collins told the crowd to shut up. Ooft. This 3rd set is going to be fun.

She is a fierce competitor and battled with some illness (endometriosis, arthritis). But I always lose respect to players who take MTO before the opponent serves for the set or the match. You had respect for her?
She has always acted unsporting and like a giant baby for her whole career on the court -She is a fierce competitor and battled with some illness (endometriosis, arthritis). But I always lose respect to players who take MTO before the opponent serves for the set or the match.
I watched that in the highlights, a la Djokovic. Djokovic might even moon the Wimbledon crowd to upper her now.Oh my god, Collins just basically told the crowd to kiss her ass.
She kissed her lips and smacked her ass and devoted it to them after the win.
I'd love to watch these if they're at a reasonable EST time (they won't be).Women’s 3R all set.
22 seeds. 9 of the top 10. Absolutely stacked with some great matches.

Currently I find WTA first week way more interesting than ATP.
Wow, I just watched the replay. I've never seen anything that animated before. That Collins post match interview and how she acted shortly after the win is going to make big headlines.
Aussies are amazing people. Everywhere you go in the world, people usually love them, and they were amazing allies to the Americans in WW2 in the pacific theater.I didn’t watch but anyone who craps on the Aussie crowd has my respect. The French still take the worst crowd award but the Aussies are close seconds.
Also check out Moutet beating Jarry last year in Chile, with one of the most hostile crowds I've ever seen in the sport.Clearly young Jack Draper has more class than Collins in dealing with a hostile home crowd.
gets her off Tennis Channel here in the StatesCoco Vandeweghe in Danielle’s players box?
Good god.
Not sure which match it was, but she was a courtside commentator on one of the ESPN+ feeds, which was annoying.gets her off Tennis Channel here in the States
didn't get ESPN+ for this tournament so don't have to run into herNot sure which match it was, but she was a courtside commentator on one of the ESPN+ feeds, which was annoying.
She says nothing that is even remotely interesting, and she also manages to come off as arrogant and snobby in the process. Really just a lose-lose, and somebody we don't need on the tennis scene.
she loves playing the villain. it's what helps her be most focused and usually plays her best tennis. "her vs the world"I'm sure there's a long thread in GPPD whining about her, but don't care. Still funny.
I like Coco. Unfiltered. Some men just don't like strong women. Not sure which match it was, but she was a courtside commentator on one of the ESPN+ feeds, which was annoying.

5 consecutive breaks of serve to start the match between Sabalenka v Tauson
Yikes ladies.
1R she was great, 2R definitely didn't look convincing but still managed to overturn that 2nd set deficit to win in straights. Is it me or Sabalenka is not that convincing compared to last year?
And they go and make it 7 now.6 breaks out of 6 games now.
