2025 Ezone 100 Breaking Strings on Grommets?

Hi All,
I bought the new Ezone 100 from Tennis warehouse and I've been having an issue with breaking strings on the 7th grommet over at the top of the racquet. It seems like the bend is too much and causes some sort of weakness on the string. I have a few 2022 Ezones and I don't have this issue. I'm assuming the string pattern is the same. Is anyone seeing this issue? I string all of my own racquets and have strung a bunch throughout my life (so I assume it's not the stringers fault.)
Thanks in advance. Will post a picture once I figure out how and where to host the picture.

Cut a piece of Nylon or Teflon tubing and tube the hole. If you stop breaking strings there, the grommet tube is damaged. If you don't string, ask your stringer to tube the hole.

New? Your grommets appear to have many abrasions up there. You could ask TW about your problem, which I assumed happened multiple times. If there is nothing else wrong, you shouldn’t be asking. Where the string breaks, is that grommet tube flared? Grommets do fail and that is not a reason to ask for a new frame. That’s why I say tube it. If it no longer breaks there, get a new set of grommets. Ask your stringer to replace them and flare them if needed.

@squinteye, I do not have any problem with my EZ100 and I'm using a soft multifilament. Can you post a picture of the racket strung? I agree with @esgee48 that the racket looks as though it's really scraped up. I also agree that if you have a persistent problem you should tube the grommets where the break occurs. that should remedy the problem. It could also identify what is causing the problem. If the tubing is scraped up, then it's not the bend, it's contact with the court surface.

Try a new bumperguard, or tubing the hole. Looks to me like you've worn the bumperguard down so that you're breaking the string on the court.

Thanks to all who replied. The racquet is new. The scraps are not as bad as it looks in the picture. The frame has barely hit the ground. I play a lot so it's just normal wear and tear. The string isn't getting scraped on the ground. It's the bend from the seventh main going up to the last main string (the 8th). So I think the bend is more dramatic in the bumper than the previous model's bumper. I restrung the racquet yesterday and then compared it to my 2022 Ezone 100 in this picture:
The bend is ever so more dramatic in the 2025. could be the bumper is just a bit deformed. I'll call TW and ask for a replacement bumper and try that out. maybe I'll get some tubing as well to see if that helps.
BTW, I have strung it with Toroline Toro Toro (17G) in the mains and Mach 10 (18G) in the crosses at 50/48 lbs. That string setup is very nice.

Don't think it is a problem with the grommets yet. Normally a channel develops where the string enters the grommet hole. I am comparing the pictures and there is more of a channel on your older frame. Did you notice if there was a channel on your newer frame before you inserted the string? A channel would increase the radius of the turn. Tubing would also increase the radius of the turn. I believe you may be getting shear breaks due to that turn, as you stated. When the string breaks, take a piece of scrape and friction burn a channel there or tube it. Other option is to add triflow or polish to the hole so that friction is less to allow the string to move.
