I think the Nike designers were inspired by playing Super Mario Brothers and really like Luigi’s color pallet
The similarity of colors is uncanny.

I don't get all the hate.
I like this kit. I like the white collar and they didn't go overboard anywhere except the dumb colorway on the shoes.
I get this color pallet is usually more of "djoko at the US open" but it's clean and simple

Totally agree

@Bxb @jmacdaununder2 @Rosstour @arthurli22 @vsbabolat @innoVAShaun favourite and least favourite mens and womens kits so far?

Coco for the women but I haven't been watching

Lacoste grey/white for the guys and the kit Tommy Paul was wearing.

Does anyone know where to get this New Balance baseball cap in the UK/Europe? I really wanted the dark red NB cap from the USO '23 but they didn't seem to release it. Again, I can't seem to find this one. It's as if they just create the caps custom for the players and don't release them for general sale which is a shame as the limited seasonal items tend to be far nicer colour ways than the generic stock on their sites. Additionally, the Paris apparel line only has about 2 items on the UK site right now where as TW USA has a much larger range - do they not want to capitalise on sales or is their tennis range just more of a brand advertisement so you look at their range of shoes for tennis/running/lifestyle?

With matching colors it would work. But with these not matching colors the shirt needs to contain at least a little of the other color. As it is it looks just randomly combined by a person with bad taste.

This is much better:

They aren't random colors...blue and green are complementary colors on the color wheel.

Firstly, they are NOT complementary colors. Secondly, this wouldn't necessarily mean matching for fashion.
Fair point by you.
But colors next to each other on the wheel generally go together.
But I'll return my dime store art diploma for screwing up what complementary means as it relates to the color wheel.

The grey Lacoste, the Le Coq Sportif that Gasquet was wearing is decent. Least favorite is Nike all of it. All Nike men’s is terrible designs. Women’s Nike line is much better looking.
Le Coq Sportif has had some good stuff all through this clay season.

Some of the Nike womens stuff has been amazing. Such flattering cuts and colours.

I’ll admit that Nike women’s line looks nice. The men’s Nike line is a disaster.
GMP is a tall, imposing and elegant frenchman, and yet Nike has managed to make him look like a disaster area :-D

I think as soon as the advanced photos came out of that bordeaux Nike kit people were worried, and justifiably so.

NB tennis does not have a huge presence/market outside the US

I don't think it's that bad, and it's very French. Everyone looks like a mime

First photo is R2 and the second one R1. Made a change from a skirt to shorts.

I see she already tried to tuck the skirt. Here's Polina Kudermetova wearing the same outfit:

I think overall the women have much better collections this year.

Best overall (men and women): Osaka

Others from women I liked: Gauff (NB), Navarro (Fila), Lys & Dolehide and some others (Asics; the blue and yellow kit; I found it fresh and sporty), Parks (Wilson), Rakhimova (Lotto). Nike's dresses are also quite nice. I prefer the white ones (Cristian, Eala, Raducanu) and the Sabalenka one.

Women's worst: maybe Kudermetova (Armani)

Men's best: Gea, Fils, Dimitrov (Lacoste; I like all the colorways and combos), Djokovic (Lacoste), Navone (Joma). The Alcaraz colorway of the Nike kit suits him. Sinner also ok IMO. I like the green and blue colors. Something a little off. Maybe it's the white collar. Might like it better with a different color.

Men's worst: Medvedev (Lacoste), HEAD in general.

Why would anyone say yes to a black dress, a black visor, a watch with a black band, essentially a blacked-out racket, and neon yellow shoes?
It looks insane.

I'm not a fan of the Adidas kit this year at all. To be honest, as a brand, they're something I would have bought as a teenager years ago but I don't buy their stuff now.
I will forever be a teenager.
I love the all black.
But not yellow shoes, or yellow anything, ever.
