Djokovic's movement was terrible in the Wimbledon one. It was too soon after that surgery to go up against someone of Alcaraz's caliber. It's not like the other two.Wimbledon 2024 F? RG 2020 F us open 2021 F?

When the draw come out I was convinced Alcaraz was winning it.It would be cool to see Zverev try to exact his revenge at RG this year on Carlos. But no chance he gets through Djoker and sinner
Carlos was gifted a real creampuff route here. All the legit players on the other side. He really shouldn’t blow this title. His path couldn’t get any easier
He's on fire like I have possibly never have seen him before and it is a beautiful thingAlcaraz is going nuts out there.

Three times in 20+ years and he avenged every one of them almost instantly. That’s legacy. You really think the Pauls and Rublevs of the world are about to do the same? Please. They catch a beating and spend the next six months nursing their confidence. Novak gets burned, then shows up with the flamethrower. That’s the difference.
According to Tommy’s coach, he has a grade 1 ab tear that he’s just going to have to deal with. He hasn’t been practising on his days off.Maybe not, but he's supposedly playing with an injury, he's definitely played a lot of tennis coming into this match, his flatter hitting is far from ideal in windy conditions, and his inability to generate anything like the same kind of pace as Alcaraz makes the crazy slow conditions of clay at night pretty difficult too. It's like a perfect storm of bad.
True. However, I’m pointing out to this guy that Djokovic has been beaten easily. As much as we love him he has had some bad losses he got beat easily.Djokovic's movement was terrible in the Wimbledon one. Also The Carlos Alcaraz experienceDidn't expect this at all. Raz serving a bagel in the opener, completely calm and focused so far. I love it.

It might but I think Alcaraz will be locked in by then. His big finals record is sensational. He couldn’t ask for an easier route. Wonder if it will come back to bite him though in the finals as that will be the first legit opponent he he will have
Also The Carlos Alcaraz experience
you and the rest of the draw hopes lolThe little Spaniard is peaking too early. Awfully bad timing in regard of his title defense at RG.

Alcaraz is both locked in and adhd-ing at the same time. The quantum player.I think he’s locked in now. It bad news for moose!
Shelton was a legitimate opponent who delivered huge firepower on serve and forehand, showed great touch and kept his intensity going for 4 sets. Credit where it’s due imo; his ranking not being top 10 was irrelevant. He couldn’t ask for an easier route. Hmmm, I don't think so. He often struggled when he saw the opponent hampered or injured, but today he is ruthlessly dispatchingHe couldn’t ask for an easier route. Wonder if it will come back to bite him though in the finals as that will be the first legit opponent he he will have
I loving the BH. What a shot. We know Alcaraz improves as the tournament goes on.Alcaraz is both locked in and adhd-ing at the same time. The quantum player.
Also shot of the match rn that backhand.
Paul didn't just have meniscus surgery at 37. He is carrying some type of injury though so we have to give him the benefit of the doubt for this listless performance. However, he's playing somebody his age not 16 years younger while having a bum knee.So Djokovic has the right to qualifying comments when he gets thrashed but Paul and everyone else doesn't. Got it.
Paul has been carrying an injury much of the tournament in fact.
Lest we forget the Dzhumer encounter and the way he played like a man possessed for half the match.Shelton was a legitimate opponent who delivered huge firepower on serve and forehand, showed great touch and kept his intensity going for 4 sets. Credit where it’s due imo; his ranking not being top 10 was irrelevant.

Time for Tommy to topple his king, get up from the board, and go home. If he's hurt, then rest and recuperate. The embarrassment he's enduring is no fun for the fans either.
I know right sinner too they should tank more games and sets and dump more forehands into the netThe little Spaniard is peaking too early. Awfully bad timing in regard of his title defense at RG.
Sheltons game and clay just don’t mix though. Yea if this wasn’t clay shelton would be deemed a worthy opponent
Shelton played great in that match, better than I've seen him in any hard court match. He was a legit opponent playing at that levelSheltons game and clay just don’t mix though. Yea if this wasn’t clay shelton would be deemed a worthy opponent
