Woke is something that you don't or preaching others while not following. Eg a celebrity preaching to stop oil use flying private jetHow do you know it was something “woke”? Define woke.
I would say rg is his worst. USO he is just unlucky to be unfit.I would say the USO is his worst slam. I know he has 1 title more there, but if it weren‘t for Nadal Djokovic would have won like 8 RGs.
what you're trying to do rnHow do you know it was something “woke”? Define woke.
yep cognitive dissonance is the real and endless epidemicwhat you're trying to do rn
That’s not the definition of woke. That’s just hypocrisy. Wokeness is a bit more complicated. Try again.Woke is something that you don't or preaching others while not following. Eg a celebrity preaching to stop oil use flying private jet
No, it was a legit question. I have no idea what was going on, and I’m pretty sure the poster didn’t either.what you're trying to do rn
I don't know. I call hypocrites woke. That’s not the definition of woke. That’s just hypocrisy. Wokeness is a bit more complicated. Try again.
I was starting to warm up to Coco but she clearly is heading into SAS hot take territory, at the same loud volume
She said Djokovic was mentally more unstable than bublik.I was starting to warm up to Coco but she clearly is heading into SAS hot take territory, at the same loud volume
as I said earlier PMac was all over this match from beforehand...predicted exactly how Zverev would play it, and then afterward called him the most unimaginative player ever
I don't know what she was trying to say about Novak more likely to be beaten by Sinner but it's better he face him in the semis because of some theory she had called The Pinnacle, where the other players can't deal with his auraShe said Djokovic was mentally more unstable than bublik.
Like what? He went 4 hrs vs Nadal in 2009. He was as old as alcaraz
I know. She was all over the place.I don't know what she was trying to say about Novak more likely to be beaten by Sinner but it's better he face him in the semis because of some theory she had called The Pinnacle, where the other players can't deal with his aura
she clearly was stressing the nerves of the rest of the setI know. She was all over the place.
@Djokovic_is_the_best#1 see I told youDjokovic in 4 is my pick.
You know ball bro. Better than my predictions as per usual@Djokovic_is_the_best#1 see I told you
I was rooting for this veteran Serb all the way through. You know ball bro. Better than my predictions as per usual![]()
Probably why he's way better in best of 3. His game can be overwhelming but if you have time to make adjustments as you do in a slam match, he won't respond with a change of his own. He is like an old school video game boss, a big lump who will kill you if you don't figure out how to evade his narrow repertoire of attacks.Zverev always looks like he is at the level of Slam champions when he plays them except that they win all the important points and he never does - maybe because he does the same thing over and over again from start to finish while they lift up their games when needed and also make adjustments. Zverev’s base game is good, but it seems he has no top gear at the level of what is needed to win Slams.

Wow, the last time an older man reached the semis of Roland-Garros, it was shortly after the May 68 student riots.
Mad.

We talked about this before the match. Djokovic prefers colder conditions and Zverev game becomes ineffective in those cold slow conditions. The argument against Djokovic was that at his age he might not want long physical exchanges but surprisingly he was fresh and full of energy. He still has amazing fitness.
Less than the number of Vamos titles.2007, 2008. 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2025
13 semi finals at RG
This was exactly my thought process at the AO and we all saw how that played out. Be careful, this match is the definition of a do-not-bet for me.

The drop shots were key to Novak’s victory last night. Zverev actually played very well, but he had no solution to the drop shots, that Djokovic did perfectly. Only a few ended in the net, most were perfectly executed. Bublik showed the way, I guess.haven't seen these stats tracked before - Novak apparently hit 35 dropshots to Zverev's 12. And Zverev hit 16 overheads to Novak's 1 - Novak hit 24 lobs!
Seems like this tournament has had more dropshots hit than any tournament I can recall(Bublik hit 37 vs Draper per stats on RG website). This is an interesting evolution in claycourt tennis(you didn't see this sort of dropshot frequency in the 80s/90s), its fun to watch.
In the Alcaraz Shelton match Alcaraz had 27 dropshots, Shelton had 19

Yeah, it could be DD. I played TG on Amstrad CPC back in the day, the gif was like the blast from the past. Lovely times, arcades/console games, pre-internet life, Pete Sampras...All I'm hearing in my mind now is Nintendo music. What a time. I think that's Double Dragon 2.![]()
So true. Zero top gear, no tactical variety, no general variety, no netgame, no dropshot. He's cooked.Zverev always looks like he is at the level of Slam champions when he plays them except that they win all the important points and he never does - maybe because he does the same thing over and over again from start to finish while they lift up their games when needed and also make adjustments. leave Meddy out of this!
When 38 year old Djokovic beats a top 3 player like Zverev (who had made 2 of the last 4 Slam finals) it's because Zverev sucksChainz is once again who we have always thought he is.
