Man, what a pity this sf ended this way. Fascinating to watch the fluctuating fortunes/ probing of their own and the other's game. Excellent tennis by them both at varying times. Hope Musetti will be fit again, soon.
Carlitos through to his 2nd consecutive final at RG, but not before rehearsing his lapses at times, as though preparing for an exam in how to randomly beggar up. But man, when honed, dude is inspirational. Look forward to seeing him him play for the title.

The injury isn't why he lost. Alcaraz stopped donating points then all the effort Musetti put into the first two sets caught up to him towards the end of the 3rd.

And look what happened to Hewitt the second half of his career: plagued with injuries. The game has gotten more and more physical over time and a lot more bo5 matches will just shorten careers.

Totally disagree. Courier's in-depth analysis is second to none, but I think it's funny how many people here think they know tennis better than Courier. Agassi is fine, but his stoic monotone is poor presentation. He needs to show a lot more emotion to be a good commentator.

This is where many believe we need to be romanced by commentators just like dodgy car salesmen
that need to tell us all specs of a price of junk or sound so smug it distracts from the tennis itself.

I prefer monotone commentary than these try hards trying to be popular, but thats my opinion as
im tired of reality tv style MCs that think they are so special. Jim no doubt knows his stuff but his
arrogant smugness is why many avoid him.

One of the best things Courier has done was deflect a first serve onto an umpy that annoyed him
he didnt need to open his mouth, it was just one of the most perfect single shots ever in tennis.

He knows he has to play with more aggressive movement if he wants to beat Carlos so he pushes himself to do that, and he can't sustain it entirely for the moment at least.
