Good on FAA. I don't give him much chance against Sinner, but what a nice SF run after being in the woods for multiple years. At least he gets the chance to play Sinner in the later stages of a big tournament and see what he can do. Not long ago, that didn't seem possible. [Note: I know, I'm being premature and assuming Sinner beats Musetti - no disrespect to Musetti.]

Shocked that FAA won a couple of rounds nevermind making it to a US Open semi, he's been so lost in the wilderness for years.
He's going to get demolished by Sinner but I'd rather see a power guy like him go up against Sinner than a no weapon guy like Demon hoping that he can make a set competitive at least.

do you know why felix is playing so hard ? because he has a wedding in 2 weeks and he needs the money. lol

Finally. I actually believe FAA will play better (or at least less bad) in the SF, he won’t feel the same pressure since he’ll be the underdog.

De Minaur is almost as big a choker as his girlfriend. Got to be one of the worst top 10 players ever, and I’ve seen Rublev play.
His girlfriend just isn't very good! :-D And unlike his girlfriend, and Rublev, he doesn't really have any weapons. He's like Ferrer, he's basically gutted his way into the top 10 on being sort of smart and kind of efficient.

Sinner does for sure if he's in the SF. I guess we will see what Musetti can bring to the court later. He's like the only guy in the draw who I haven't seen play yet this tournament.
So let's go back to April. Musetti was regularly getting to latter stages of clay court events ans for 2 sets was really troubling Alcaraz. Then he got injured. But he is from out of nowhere hitting 130 mphs serves..inthink this event he's up there with the biggest servers . That BH though is the key. Will it hold-up or cough up errors

This Drysdale tribute is getting me misty, the best compliment I’ve ever received was when he told me “you have beautiful strokes young man!” when I was hitting in street clothes

Really didn’t understand until later how much of a big deal that was
