Dimitrov is 77-1 in 5 setters when he's won the first 2 sets. Only loss was to Corentin Moutet in 2019 during Round 1 of Wimbledon. Dimi knows how to close!

(Though, there were 2 other instances where he retired.)
These stats are a bit padded by seven Davis Cup matches against absolute mugs:

1. Adam Kellner (#586)
2. Benjamin Balleret (#249)
3. Thomas Oger (#418)
4. Micke Kontinen (#949)
5. Juho Paukku (#1117)
6. Markos Kalovelonis (#690)
7. Gilles Kremer (UNRANKED)

How do you know it's some discomfort and not much worse? Why do you think Sinner is missing ROUTINE forehand and backhands? Have you EVER seen him play worse?
Even the commentators are saying that Sinner is not playing close to his A game.

He’s not even playing his D game , his everything is missing from serve to ground strokes , when was the last time he made that many silly errors?

apparently, not badly enough if he's still out there. should've taken whatever was in that advil pill bottle his physio was dangling
That was a big misstep. He didn't take a pill. And Advill is pretty weak. He needed a stronger one.

That is an impressive stat, but he is only 2-0 when winning the first 2 sets at age 34. :D

That can't be right as he has only played 51 5-setters in his career.
