Raz has to find a way to be more consistent and have a higher floor, if he wants to stay alive in this rivalry in the long term.
Good analysis. Especially his service has to become more consistent. He blew his gaskets and neglects spot serving. Should look how the Old Wolf does it.

Also refreshing to see Sinner celebrating the win without falling on his back.
The so-called robot is perhaps the guy least likely to copy these tiresome trends.
He was very controlled , expecting the same after RG.
Dont celebrate in ur head too early. Only after mp.

On that regard, andy murray changed so much after gs losses that he was entirely emotionless. No celebration at all after his first win at uso 12

Were was your confidence when Sinner was beating Carlos like a drum for two sets and had 3 mps and a serve to close it out in 4?
Youre lacking in IQ. I was just saying that Sinner was an automatic favorite over alcaraz like you pretend he was/is. They are quite level in matches overall and alcaraz was the favorite going into this final. Now alcaraz played horrible and sinner did better so he won but let's not be exaggerating things. Calm down even if youre biased.
Also youre logic of "oh sinner was leading by 2 sets and had mps so he was the moral victor" logic is flawed

Ivan Ljubucic fancies either coaching job:

Jannik Sinner is still looking for a new coach for next season. Darren Cahill has announced he'll be stepping down at the end of 2025. Would that be something you would want to do?

I have a job with the French Federation, which keeps me busy. But when a player like Sinner comes knocking, you have to at least consider it. Just like with Roger Federer. Sinner, Alcaraz—there are a few players who make me excited. I'll coach another player at some point. But I don't know when.

Also quite an interesting comment on the difference between Federer and Alcaraz:

He seems a bit more playful than Federer.

Roger was more efficient. The spectacle was a product of his playing. He wasn't consciously looking for a show. With Alcaraz, I sometimes get the feeling that he just wants to have fun—for himself, but also for the audience.

Calm down fanboy and take a L and enjoy seeing your boy playing second fiddle, don’t act smart your boy won RH by sheer luck else he would be sitting on Zeeo slam this year lol

No actual debate, no counter of points, just using random words as per your IQ. You really are a grandpa by your use of logic. Didnt know they had internet in your old home, thats impressive. Thanks for confirming youre just a troll. Cant expect you to actually discuss tennis

All you’re doing is personal attack and emotional venting lol , you were trolling me for RG prediction when your boy was lucky to win it but then the order got restored and the best player of this generation put him in his place , enjoy fan of a second fiddle player.

Can't help but worrying for Alcaraz after this match. Will it shift the ascendant?
Alcaraz had won the previous 5 matches but let's not forget 3 were on clay, Sinner was injured (specially in IW), in 2 of them and I put the Rome match on rustiness. The RG final was a massive choke from Sinner (specially the 2 UE on match points) more than some epic come-back from Alcaraz. The reality is Sinner dominated 90% of the match and isn't gonna choke that way in every matches. This Wimbledon final was never close and showed that. If Sinner doesn't choke, his average level is way too high and consistent for Alcaraz.

Grass/clay are Alcaraz's surfaces and he was 1 point away from losing both finals. I worry about the results if they play in multiple US Open or Australian Open finals in the future. He couldn't even beat 38 years old injured Djokovic in BO5 in Australia so beating peak Sinner may be impossible now. Now that he broke the streak and beat him, Alcaraz's mental edge may be gone next time they meet.

I have no dog in this race but I suspect the H2H won't stay in Alcaraz's favor for long (unless Alcaraz systematically fails to play Sinner in big HC finals).

Yeah the best player of this generation, who is 2 years older, has one less slam and is a convicted doper :-D :-D
Ok grandpa, time for your medicines

This is the record might stand forever. It's very difficult to win first 8 slam finals. Not many players win 8 slams, let winning first 8 slam starting from very young age.
definitely need a lot of luck as well. Both 2005 semi finals(losses) ended up being de-facto finals but Rafa/Safin happened to land on his side of the draw so Roger had his streak going through all that.
