So you expect alcaraz to get worse? Instead of better? Interesting point of view, isnt there the possibility, i dont know, that he gets better with age? I mean who knows, it could be the more likely outcome.Agree that Sinner needs to start beating Alcaraz soon. And it could have been as soon as French Open this year - if one shot was different. I mean how many people have won matches after being down 3 consecutive match points?
Regardless - I suspect Sinner will get Alcaraz maybe this Wimbledon or another slam soon. And then the flood gates might open.
The reason I think Sinner gets more slams than Alcaraz is that he is FAR SUPERIOR on harcourts which has 50% of the slams and 65% of the total ATP tour.
Alcaraz is also prone to lapses and losing early. Sinner because of his consistency will ALWAYS make the finals. Especially after Novak retires. Alcaraz has made the most of slams finals by winning them all.
But he will start losing slam finals soon - and given that he gets into fewer finals - his overall tally wouldn't increase as fast as Sinner's does.
Ooh half chance here at deuce. Struff is all over the Alcaraz serve like white on rice right now. Ferrero DO SOMETHING!!!!
Venice of the 60° northI like all the boat taxis here.![]()
This is true. It will help him though should he get through. For a supposed easy run to the finals, Alcaraz isn't having it all his own way in this run. He's had to be very clutch.
That’s why I was laughing when people said it was gonna be easyFor a supposed easy run to the finals, Alcaraz isn't having it all his own way in this run. He's had to be very clutch.
For better or worse, this has always been his way, you never know, interesting to see how he will become in some yearsFor a supposed easy run to the finals, Alcaraz isn't having it all his own way in this run. He's had to be very clutch.
? Too young to have wrist issues.Raz wrist tweak?
Firsts are in the high 130's...Alcaraz having trouble returning this guy’s serve.
It weird how they criticise Alcaraz more than sinner when he’s accomplished more already and being younger too! lolSo you expect alcaraz to get worse? Instead of better? When they land thoughFirsts are in the high 130's...
For Alcaraz this is easy though. Him and his team don’t stress as it all part of the plan. He will drop sets but he will win the tournament in the end. That’s why I was laughing when people said it was gonna be easy

Let them talk about that in the Pro Player section ..Expecting some new “Alcaraz is mierda compared to Fedr” threads..
Exactly. He won all his slams this way. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.For better or worse, this has always been his way, you never know, interesting to see how he will become in some years
Apparently it gives more confidence to win consistently agaisnt the weaker field and slam finals agaisnt medvedev and fritz than to win big matches against your opponentIt weird how they criticise Alcaraz more than sinner when he’s accomplished more already and being younger too! lol

Sinner is a great player but for his own confidence he needs to beat Alcaraz soon. In one of the next few meetings. Let’s see what happens.Good points, it may turn out that way too. A lot of it depends on Sinner, how persistent he will be at plugging away until he gets that one big win over Carlito and maybe floodgates will open.
Will be very interesting to follow this rivalry. Good clash of styles and personalities.
The bombs are getting faster I feel. The greats used to return bombs.
That's reasonable. However, Alcaraz is already a very complete player. The only big thing he can improve is his serve. And maybe the concentration lapses. So you expect alcaraz to get worse? Instead of better? Interesting point of view, isnt there the possibility, i dont know, that he gets better with age? I mean who knows, it could be the more likely outcome.
That's exactly my thought. I think it's great to have 2 players so different in styles and personalities. That is exactly what makes a great rivalry. Which is why Fed-Nadal was so compelling.Good points, it may turn out that way too.
