Lol - is this anti jinxing or have you become an Alcaraz fan?
No anti-jinxing and not an Alcaraz fan. It my opinion bro.

I hope Djokovic can get a final swansong but think he falls short.

I like watching Alcaraz though and he looks the favourite. Sinner/djokovic only ones that can beat him but they probably have to beat each other and then will be underdog in final.

So who are you going to support after Novak retires?
And I'm curious, will you change your user name?

I agree. I would put both at 60-40. Alcaraz is due for a loss against both.
Novak despite his age is playing very well too.
But wow - tough ask for Novak to beat Sinner and Alcaraz back to back. And for Sinner to beat Djokovic-Alcaraz back to back. Sinner was close at the F.O within 1 pt.

That is why draws are so crucial. It will be lopsided until we get a good #4. Whoever does not have Novak in their half will have a huge edge.
Alcaraz lucked out here by avoiding Novak and it was the same in the French Open.
Alcaraz was the favourite coming in but yes it is a big advantage that he went in sinner’s side.

That is the way the draws go though. However, we first need to see if sinner and Djokovic make the semis themselves.

Man, i dont know if its just me but in this years wimbledon, the game feels different, not a lot of huge shots, everybody taking the ball late... they said the balls are different and i feel theyre affecting the game a lot, even sinner shots were looking kind of slow, the best shots ive seen so far are from novak, cause he always plays so deep and finds the spots while serving

I will keep my username. In memory of djoker ;)I will be neutral bro unless I find a new favourite in future.

As for Alcaraz v sinner I’m fairly neutral. A slight lean to Carlos but overall I hope they have a great rivalry and win lots each.

Hopefully we get a couple of new names to join them too and I will see if a new player catches my eye. If not I will enjoy being chill hehe

Looks super slow

One of the most frustrating parts of Alcaraz's game is his refusal to put away points by using power. He opts for the risky drop shot and makes life difficult for himself. He could easily put balls away with a powerful FH but he refuses to do it. I just don't understand.

When do you think Sinner will snap the streak? And who you think is improving more?

For those not in the know, this absolute badass..
The scene where he tortures (a disarmed) Mortimer in a "duel" while making him listening to the watch chimes, confident and arrogant. The very next scene is him with quite the opposite facial expressions - fear and anger. What a masterpiece that movie is...

Sinner can snap it anytime. He’s close and plays alcaraz close in most matches. I don’t think it will be here though.

My guess would be maybe us open if they meet in final. However, we don’t know if they will and what happens if they do. Sinner is under pressure though and needs to beat his main rival in one of next couple of meetings.

He can’t afford to lose to him here and then in us open too. Then it would be time to panic more for sinner and his fans.

If he does it here, how do you see the rivalry changing? I think he will do it here, the stars are aligned for him

If he does it here it would be huge because he will have won in one of Alcaraz dens. Almost did it at french so does it here then Carlos might panic more. Sinner might gain confidence to go on a little streak against him with hard courts next. It big for both players and alcarax won’t want sinner beating him in one of his strongholds to end his winning streak.

Do you see Sinner losing 7 in a row? Personally, I don’t see that happening . I think it stays at 5 in a row, or very worst case 6

I think the hope for sinner and his fans it is 6 in a row at worst then he turns the tide. I not sure but let’s see what happens here first. All I know is sinner will be desperate to beat alcaraz soon because he doesn’t want this mental baggage to grow even more. If he wins here it takes the pressure off him for hard courts and us open and Aussie open.

If he loses here then he must beat him at HC slams or if alcaraz crashes out again he might not have to. I think sinner might prefer alcaraz not to go out early on HC again though as he just wants to beat him as this will help his confidence for facing him in HC slam or french/wimbledon next year.

Raz in 4!
You were spot on. Descendant of the Oracle of Delphi by any chance, or did you do it the scientific way by drawing straws?
What a way of breaking and closing the match, i mean come on...
Yah man, Carlitos closed it out in style. Some superb play, some less so. Overall good performance against Struff, who’s been an awkward opponent before. These early round skirmishes could prove to be part of the burnishing needed to hone his game for the coming matches. Struff showed glimpses of how excellent his game can be, and put up a good challenge.

A drop shot when. It works, is wonderful. When it doesn't it's still good. Remember the borefest when Murray beat Djokovic at the US Open. Could have have used a few drops.

I had a feeling he’d have a test but come through it and finish strong. It played out like that and Raz will be happy with his performance.
