Handshake was also horrible. Iga has no sportsmanship whatsoever. She's always a sore loser.Either rage or gamesmanship, she really hates to lose

I think in Singapore she didn't get a wildcard, right? But since then, 2 wildcards, 2 matches, 2 losses.Raducanu has been offered (and accepted) a wildcard into Dubai next week. This is becoming very uncomfortable.
because of doubles superiority mainly...Ostapenko is good at doubles but doesn't have that kind of resume...Muster should be in according to recent standardsHelena Sukova is in HOF, but Muster is not. There are no real minimum standards to get in, its sort of a popularity contest.
LOL it definitely was the wind today. Sometimes it was quite crazy because the ball flew really unpredictable. She's possibly top 10 on natural talent though. It's like she's trolling the tour hanging around outside the top 32. That said, she's very unstable. The slightest 2mph breeze or maybe a runny nose, her game will stay in the locker room.
There have always been these giant killer ladies and men around. Like you said in the end its the big titles that count.the name of the game isn't beating Iga Swiatek, it's winning titles...and preferably big ones, like this
being consistently inconsistent isn't a trait Hall of Famers share
yeah and it wasn't coco pegula navarro or collinsI mean the American women this year? Holy smokes.
Ha, who did she kick out?Ostapenko had the opportunity to go up 2-0 in the second but failed to convert break points. As Ostapenko took out her frustrations at her team, Anisimova broke early to take a 2-1 lead and leave her opponent fuming during the changeover.
Ostapenko asked a member of her team to leave her box and won the next seven points, but she lost her momentum after another 25-minute rain delay.
I believe it was her coach.Ha, who did she kick out?
How was that "easy" for her? She was 0-2 against both Fernandez and Kostyuk before they met here, so they weren't easy match ups for her. None of the players in her draw can be considered slacks - all in the Top 30. She wouldn't have minded facing Sabalenka instead of Alexandrova either with their 5-2 H2H.Full credit to Anisimova but damn that’s some dream easy run for a 1000.
Bit harsh. There's no muppets in there who came through the qualies who nobody's ever heard of. All well known respectable dangerous opponents.Full credit to Anisimova but damn that’s some dream easy run for a 1000.

Sakkari's Guadalajara 1000 run in 2023 would be what you call the ultimate dream. Hunter > Giorgi > Arango > Garcia > Dolehide?
As I said, full credit but again, take a look at the draw Ostapenko had for this tournament and even Alexandrova and then perhaps you'll understand my comparisonBit harsh. Um, no draw against Giorgi is easy... (unless it seems like one of those events where her game is completely off and she can't play anywhere near her best level)How was that "easy" for her? She didn't play well that day. It was 6-2 6-2.Um, no draw against Giorgi is easy... (unless it seems like one of those events where her game is completely off and she can't play anywhere near her best level)
I actually think I remember that match, and Giorgi looking completely lost for some reason. She didn't play well that day. It was 6-2 6-2.
