Well that's the Slavic Spanish for you

But beating Sinner and Alcaraz to win this title will render the W/O not that important.
He went down a break but he injured himself in that service game. If he hadn't injured himself, Novak was pretty much heading home. Even he knows it. His game was just not clicking today. You’re delusional kid snd you’re a Novak fan? No way. Mugsetti would have crumbled. He was already down a break in the 3rd set.
he could well be his father...You all forget Novak is Darth Vader of tennis.

This is why just bean-counting titles won is not the whole story. If Novak goes on to win this title with one WO and a retirement so far, it shouldn't mean as much as someone winning all seven rounds.
Most likely it won't be a high quality sf, unfortunately. If either one of them is healthy and makes it to Djokovic and finishes the match, it won't look pretty.
Djokovic shouldn't be in a semifinal playing like this.
can't believe there's better evidence of why he keeps hanging around....if his challenges at majors don't extend beyond two other guys, might as wellNovak now has 6 GS semis after the age of 37. That's as many as guys like Thiem Cilic Del Po and Safin did in their entire careers. Pretty nuts. He's also going to return to the top 3 and likely hold that spot at his 39th birthday. That is pretty wild.

With Novak’s luck both Sinner and Shelton will pull up lame.If Novak's luck continues Sinner will pull a hamstring tonight.
actually i figured he speaks like he's speaking italian, using verbs like dir instead of decir, spetto instead of espero. the being Slavic may be a contributing factor too thoWell that's the Slavic Spanish for you![]()

Relax, Novak is to slow on his operated knee and his focus is all over the place, Sinner will win the title. This is why just bean-counting titles won is not the whole story. History suggests djoko plays better at night in Melbourne than day. He doesn’t have as many day matches and you can tell. The night match hurts Djoker’s chances. He could still do it. But I’d put him at better than even money if they played during the day in hot conditions.
Djokovic is 39 almost man. Coming back from 2 sets down to a much younger player is going to be very very difficult now.No he wasnt and history has proven that . These dudes are mental midgets.
It started at 1-1 in the third...
Easy to talk **** at Lorenzo once he is out.
Usual suspects are here , only MN is missing from the Djoko Hatewagan lol
Yeah sure pal. You’re giving too much credit to these guys. Novak still had s mental edge over guys not named sinner or alcaraz.Djokovic is 39 almost man. Coming back from 2 sets down to a much younger player is going to be very very difficult now.
You sound kinda bitter. Had a bet on the game?Mugrenzo broke down before grandpa did. Again he got hurt after he got broken.

Very very stupid to sayMusetti is the absolute definition of a 'mug.' What a useless performance.
And sinnerwhy is it that in recent years being 2-0 up means absolute nothing look at dimitrov musetti medvedev zverev tsitsipas

Mental edge doesn't mean much when you're losing pretty routinely and the other guy is just better that day.Yeah sure pal. You’re giving too much credit to these guys. Novak still had s mental edge over guys not named sinner or alcaraz.
interesting!Yeah plus northern Italian dialects will often eliminate the last vowel. He mixes them together quite a bit.
You sound kinda bitter. Had a bet on the game?
He tied when he beat Botic. He is now surpassing Federer wins at AO.

Possum never dieI'm sorry, but I burst out laughing at Djokovic getting the win![]()
I think he would have lost in 4. He was completely flat similar to how he was against Sinner in 2024. I think Musetti would have taken his foot off the gas and Djokovic would have won the 3rd, and then Musetti would have closed him out in 4. He completely outplayed Djokovic tonight. We didn't watch the same match.Yesh like he hasnt come back from two sets down lol. You aint a novak fan. All it takes is one break to shift momentum.
Wait didn't he overtake Fed?And Djoko ties Fed’s record for AO wins with a ****ing walkover down 0-2 sets
I'm sorry, but I burst out laughing at Djokovic getting the win![]()
That is very true. But I think that Sinner would have a high chance of cramping again in the day. I’d pick Djoker in 4 in a day match in hot weather. But since it’s a night match, I’m taking Sinner in 5. Djoker is due to beat Sinner. So I wouldn’t be shocked at all if Djoker pulls off the win. But my gut says Sinner in 5.History suggests djoko plays better at night in Melbourne than day. He doesn’t have as many day matches and you can tell.
Must sucks that Nadal has 0 wins versus Djokovic at the AOThis is why just bean-counting titles won is not the whole story. If Novak goes on to win this title with one WO and a retirement so far, it shouldn't mean as much as someone winning all seven rounds.
We are in a pretty unprecedented vacancy from 2-20 right now. Zverev can fill the role somewhat he looks to be in good form again finally after a year and a half of being in the wilderness and somehow still holding on to number 3. Djokovic still has moments here and there. And the only two guys with enough talent to be even semi contenders (Draper and Musetti) are injured all the time. Medvedev is toast because his injuries have nuked his serve (especially his second) down from elite to mediocre and this is how we have FAA finishing YE top 5. Gotta be the most egregious YE top 5 since Blake and Ljubicic in 06. And 3 was the worst year of Zed's prime and 4 was an oft injured part time playing 38 year old Novak. God help the tour right now. I would kill for just one Tsonga level player to emerge.can't believe there's better evidence of why he keeps hanging around....if his challenges at majors don't extend beyond two other guys, might as well
Zverev could still pass him for #3. (I hope not since I want Carlos to win!)Novak now has 6 GS semis after the age of 37.
