Watched, Musetti in control of the match.
Drove to work. When I get there, he has retired - looking great 20 minutes earlier.

What happened. Did the pressure of winning destroy his body?

Did you honestly think novak was out of it? I ess posting confident that Novak would still take this match. Mugsetti really needs to work on staying healthy. 25 years old body breaking down in front of a guy whose close to 40 lol.

We are in a pretty unprecedented vacancy from 2-20 right now. Zverev can fill the role somewhat he looks to be in good form again finally after a year and a half of being in the wilderness and somehow still holding on to number 3. Djokovic still has moments here and there. And the only two guys with enough talent to be even semi contenders (Draper and Musetti) are injured all the time. Medvedev is toast because his injuries have nuked his serve (especially his second) down from elite to mediocre and this is how we have FAA finishing YE top 5. Gotta be the most egregious YE top 5 since Blake and Ljubicic in 06. And 3 was the worst year of Zed's prime and 4 was an oft injured part time playing 38 year old Novak. God help the tour right now. I would kill for just one Tsonga level player to emerge.

Big difference between Musetti and Draper re injuries, Musetti gets injured during matches, but he doesn’t miss time

He’s 23, not sure if that’s worse or better lol

I am very interested to see what Musetti’s injury turns out to be because rn he’s on watch for me as someone who’s just … soft

Like this is the 4th time now counting RG 22, 24 and 25 beforehand that he has played some high quality sets against a “elite” opponent and then just vanished without a trace because his body can’t handle it
they didn't confirm groin yet?

His stats on leading 2-0 vs Nole is 100% lose :X3:.

The way Nole is playing he might be an easier opponent for Sinner than Moose. Managed to put in 32UEs in a little more than 2 sets.

Gutted for Musetti

Djokovic has no place being in the semis, he hasn’t won a set since R3. Easy win for Sinner after he’s stomped over Shelton then. Unless Alcaraz wins his semi, the final won’t be worth watching. Ugh!

Novak now has 6 GS semis after the age of 37. That's as many as guys like Thiem Cilic Del Po and Safin did in their entire careers. Pretty nuts. He's also going to return to the top 3 and likely hold that spot at his 39th birthday. That is pretty wild.
No way he is holding number 3 till May. Even if Zverev loses the number 3 for a short while, he will get it back soon after. Zverev don't have much points to defend over the next couple months and he will likely play in more tournaments than Novak.

The Djoko MTO really killed him. Totally iced him

If you listen closely, somewhere right now in the banland FedFlacidWilly and Tennis Handsy pants are screeching as their guy's crucial AO GOAThood credentials (match wins record) are gone, like so many others. And what a gloriously crappy way for it to happen lol...

Atta GOAT /

I wonder what wretched your noggin so mercilessly that now, instead of peace and quiet, you’ve got the full pantheon of industry demigods living up there — twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week — as if your brain were some eternal Hall of Fame exhibit they refuse to vacate, replaying their greatest hits just to remind you how high the bar really is.
