Yes that's true his record at night is extremely good. Wawrinka is the ONLY player to have beaten peak Djokovic in a night match at the AO, let's not forget.

Djokovic has big match up issues with Wawrinka. So that's really an exception.
Also isn't Alcaraz INJURED? I'm reading online that he has a torn muscle? If so, he is certainly going to lose the final.

Let's be real, Djokovic just pulled off a miracle. I think the odds are correct, but as @weakera said you would be crazy to bet on this match. Let us all just sit back and enjoy two great players playing for the title.
 
At this point, Novak winning the final in 5 sets and announcing his retirement, after beating #2 and #1, would be the most legendary way ever to end the "best player ever" conversation. Epic stuff.
 
Alcaraz will bulldoze djokovic like in last USO. The doped carrot has no forehand, unlike Alcaraz, thas has the bests forehand of the tour.

The biggest hurdle for Novak was Sinner, he won't be trouble as much with Alcaraz. And generally Novak matches up much better vs Alcaraz.
I'm predicting Novak in 3 or 4 sets. I'm betting money that the match won't go to 5 sets.

I agree as long as Novak isn’t injured or relatively okay energy levels he has a good chance. He will throw everything at it. His last big chance you feel for 25.

There is no evidence to support that he is injured. Cramping is temporary.

I didn't hear anything about a torn muscle, let's see - Alcaraz says he experienced discomfort most likely caused by dehydration / intense cramping. If that's true then it's a temporary condition and less likely to surface in a cooler night match
 
No idea who wins tbh. If Alcaraz is solid physically I think he definitely should, but look what just happened. This Djokovic character is not normal and he has done the groundwork on Alcaraz’s soul already.

Djokovic does provide more value in my opinion. It's not much more value though. I would have put Alcaraz at -250 or so.

Yeah. It's going to be darn near impossible for Djokovic to recover in time. Considering he played the 2nd match of the day and has less than 48 hours to recover makes it tough to bet on him. He's likely to be exhausted.

Well i care about Novak , don’t want Carlos to win . Fedal fans should shut up and pretending they didn’t try to discredit him all those years.
 
If Djokovic did wins this it would never be topped. Beating 2 peak young legends in Sincaraz at nearly 39 would be insane.

He already worked a miracle beating sinner and in my mind most impressive win of his career considering age gap.

Alcaraz is favourite though as he more likely to be consistent but this is Novak’s favourite slam and conditions at night too.

Hopefully both guys injury free and fit and give us a great final.

You care about Novak so much that you have been bashing him for losing to Sinner in the last 2 years. Man what a sweet victory today. Put Sinner in his place. Sinner at 39 will be nearly a decade into retirement and Djoko at the same age is taking him down in a Slam.

Beating 2 prime ATG at this age is insane as far as him being topped? Never gonna happen, he’s best of best, in his own league.

Well i took a bet with @Poisoned Slice and it was about Carlos or Sinner beating each other in final, unfortunately bet became null and void and he’s a big man he offered me bet himself unlike you who happens to be a small cat lol

Yeah let’s forget Sinner lost one freak match to Novak in two year , maybe it’s Carlos who should be worried about Novak since he lost to him regularly ?
 
Djokovic needs to be injury free and hopefully he’s not to worn out. He did need a tough match to get tested so got it considering rest of tournament been a breeze to SF hardly on court. Hopefully he okay to go.

If he’s fine physically he can give Alcaraz at least a tough battle and make him earn the win.
