Dude has a monster serve and here are his service games so far:I disagree, I think Shelton really is trying to fight out here tonight. He is showing a good intensity despite being outplayed.
The main point isn't to say Sinner is as good as Fed and Shelton was as good as Roddick, rather, once Fed got the serve back, you felt like the rallies were in his control. And it's the same deal here, Sinner gets the serve back, and is almost in complete control.
1) holds after 4 deuces
2) broken
3) holds after 15-40
4) holds after 30-30
5) holds after 30-30
6) broken
And at the same time the odds of him breaking more than once maybe in a match are close to 0. Sinner isn't doing anything special too.
I wouldn't say a word if this was some top 50 player, but the dude's a regular top 10 player and he struggles to hold on a faster surface EACH TIME despite having a bomb serve. And this isn't the first time too.
