Very interesting match here. Rybakina seems to have found her best form. Iga is Iga. Iga has done well vs. lately vs. Rybakina except in Riyadh. Rybakina played the type of power game that often troubles Iga as it did early in their matchups.

Current odds:

Rybakina -121, Iga +100

This has blockbuster potential written all over it. They're so often drawn to face each other in slams and Rybakina almost always loses early. Their matches are usually good too. With Iga supposedly vulnerable and Lena looking more consistent than she has in years, I almost (almost) want to get my hopes up.

I have no idea what to expect here. Rybakina has been on fire lately and could certainly knock off Iga if she keeps the pressure on herself under control (an issue she has had since winning Wimbledon). Swiatek on some level I think is still kicking herself for losing to Keys last year, and I think will want to step up here. However she has a career slam on the line here and those nerves might get to her....I think this will come down to who manages that pressure best. Historically I feel like that answer is Swiatek, but I feel like anything goes here.

Totally depends on which Rybakina shows up. I still think she’s the best in the world when on her game on hard courts. If both bring their A game, she’ll win. I just don’t trust her to bring it and Iga isn’t struggling to find the court like the first half of last year.

Have you by any chance considered creating a forum post where you put your betting picks in? Not sure if it's allowed here but I'd be interested in seeing your picks.

I hope that Elena takes this one, feel like she needs it more and I agree with the posters who noticed that her power game, especially the serve, could rob Iga of any rhythm and Swiatek's topspin bounces right into Rybakina's striking zone.
The question is which version of Elena we're going to see. She was fantastic in Riyadh, though.

Swiatek hasn't been herself in a long time. Her play in United cup was below her standards. Here as well she looks outclassed despite Elena having a bad serving day

As a Swiatek fan, I feel, even if she goes on to win this match, the coach needs to sit her down and talk about her inconsistency within matches and the habit of giving in to ball bashing .

This the best Quarter Final in the tournament( across the mens and womens) in terms of rankings. Two top 5 seeds meeting each other in the QF. Not something you always see.
